Just got a call from this number...some insurance telemarketer.

Hi -

I just got the same call with the same recorded message mentioned above.  I pressed 1 because I'm on the 'do-not-call' list and I wanted to see who had gotten my number.

'Kevin' answered, and I asked him what company he  was with--he said he worked with "Insurance Placement Services," and that they were based in Huntington Beach, CA. I asked for the actual corporate address and he said it was 12500 West Something...Blvd, Huntington Beach, CA. I asked him to clarify and he kept muttering something unintelligible.

I imagine the company name and location are bogus but thought I'd post it either way.

I got a call from this number twice.  I didn't answer as I had a breather a couple days ago and while his number is blocked he may be trying to call me from another phone.  Sounds like it's telemarketing.  I'm glad I didn't pick up as I have a real job to do.

Just got the same call with the same recorded message mentioned above.  I pressed 1 and a Megan answered, and I asked her what company she was with--she said they work with agents from AllState, State Farm, etc., but she clearly wasn't going to give up her company name.  I then told her I was on the Do Not Call list, and she said goodbye and promptly hung up.

This was a recorded message that said I was being alerted that the South Carolina Department of Transportation leaked drivers license number to various agencies and companies. They went on to say that I was paying too much for car insurance. If I wanted to learn more about how the I could receive government assistance in lowering my car insurance, I could press one.

Just got called from this number, I didn't pickup, they didn't leave voicemail

caller muttered incoherent gibberish - I had questioned the integrity of a car mechanic 45 minutes and thought it was the response that ignorant, immature coward.

Received a call on my cell from this number... insurance telemarketing... wonder if it does any good to report these scavengers... using a nice word there so as not to offend anyone!!!  :-)

Just got a call from this number and didn't answer the phone. They didn't leave a message.

Just got pinged by this too....rejected the call though.  Been getting these about every month from different numbers---and I've been on the DNC list for a while now, renew it every year for the cells and the home phone.  What is up with this crap?  I'm on a prepaid phone (Tracfone), so these calls cost me money every time they call.  Managed to trace a few to websites and sent emails to them to try to stop them...will have to dig around tonight to see if I can trace this one too.
