I just received a message from 844-952-7362 ? from Charles Clay (Legal Hearing Services?). He claimed to have a summons for me that he was going to serve within 24 hours to my home or place of employment. He asked that I be present with 2 forms of ID and if they come to my work, then a supervisor or security guard would have to sign as a witness. Then he said that if I needed further information, I would need to call the company requesting this action ? but gave the same number he called from. Looks like this is obviously a scam from all the posts on this site.

Received a call this morning also from Charles Clay with legal care services. He claimed he has a summons to deliver at home or place of employment. Had to have 2 forms of ID AVAILABLE. the number on caller ID was 844-952-7362. The number he told me to reach was 844-952-7352 which led me to Western Acquisitions Group. They stated I had account with Orchard Bank opened 2001 which I never had a credit card at all then.

Their website is up but "under construction" which threw a red flag and now I googled this I'm seeing this many recent posts about makes me think this is a total scam. These punks are gonna get served.

I just recieved a call from 844-952-7352 stating I am going to be served ... so on and so on. a bunch of ridiculousness, just wasting my time and everyone elses. Give me a break I am going to report them to the government for obstruction of my freedom and harrassment. I am filing a lawsuit against swanson walker adn associates as well as going to the BBB if you can even find them. I will also be locating Mr. James who so kindly sent me to his voicemail.
All this is is a bunch of 5$ an hour workers sitting in a boiler room scamming money from people.

I get the same calls from this guy "Charles Clay"(every so many weeks), every time he calls he's working for a different fake agency, the most recent time he called he said he is from Legal Caring Services (but he never says my actual name, lol, he leaves a generic message) and that I was going to get papers served to me within 24 hours, bla bla bla, have id present, bla bla bla, we are coming to your home or place of employment, bla bla bla... So here's  the deal, I have a very close friend that is an attorney in collections, bankruptcies, trademark, copyrights and several other areas of the law, she told me not to worry and just document the harassing actions by the so called process servers and/or debt collectors, in addition she told me to file a complaint with the FTC. I asked her why should I keep records and document their actions, she said that these people are most likely scammers, junk debt collectors or legit debt collectors but violate the fair collection act in their collections ways and that their actions can and would be used in a suit again'st them if they actually ever took you to court. She also said that the majority of time they are scammers trying to steal money from you. In other cases they are junk debt collectors that try to collect on debts that are past the statutes of limitations (please note that every state has different statute limits), what they do in the case that the debt is past the statutes of limitations is that they will try to get you to admit your old debt and since the conversations are recorded the clock would reset on the debt and you would then be responsible for it.
Whatever your case may be, do not be afraid, and wait for the papers, they will NEVER arrive (you never get heads up that papers will be served to you). If you ever speak with them over the phone don't admit anything or give them any info.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

?is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
?refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
?asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
?exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:

?Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you

.?Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.

?Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.

?Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.

?Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

This is apparently a scam, the company "Legal Caring Services" is a part of Swanson Walker & Associates, a fake law firm. They attempt to get you to pay them already-paid, expired, or non-existant debts. You do not actually have legal action against you. The guy said he was going to have me served at my place of work the next 24 hours. Well buddy, tomorrow is Saturday, so I'd say you've got about an hour left to make good on that threat. Delete this message and don't worry about it. Scam.

My mom received a voice mail from a Julius Stone, an african american male, telling her on her voice mail that he was going to come to her work and have her arrested for possibly a collections matter, but he was so unintelligible, it was hard to tell.  She couldn't understand the company he said he was calling from.  Unbelievable!  Who is this company???
