Rock is right -- they use multiple numbers -- I now have three on the slective-block function on my phone.  Doing this leaves me call-free for about a week -- then they swwitch to another number.  If you actually talk to a person, answering any question other than the ones they ask you will result in a hang-up

People:  These criminal telemarketers ARE now under very active investigation by several state's Attorney's General offices and federal law enforcement agencies.  It is only a matter of time before they are busted big time.

You can help bring them down faster if you go to the web site www.heatherwithaccountservices.com, read over the information posted there (including on their forum) and report them to the agencies whose links are provided.

This site is having an immediate impact on the scammers.  They had their lawyers try to shut it down and also threatened the site's admin.  The various investigators who are building a case against these criminals also read this site and gather information from what people post there.

One example of how you can help is, if you selected option #1 and spoke to one of the telemarketers, please post here (or at the aforementioned web site) if that person had a foreign accent (Spanish or Indian) as this is a clue as to the specific Florida-based company behind the calls.

Same as others, they are rude and well I got rude too. I doubt this will do anything to stop them, specially since you can't call the number back. Stupid phone companies should do a better job keep sleaze out of the system. This number was the first to call me 5-062-250-1063 the 3rd number was 850-648-5744, but from the exact place. I got a call three times in less then 5 min. The second call was a blocked call and they just sat there and said nothing, but could hear people in the background. Oh, and when I yelled at the girl she told me they didn't need such negative words there. HA!! Go ahead call me back, I will say a few more negative words. Good grief!!!

These criminal telemarketers illegally leave fake information on your Caller ID.  The only way to stop them from calling you again and again (using different spoofed Caller ID info each time) is to report them using their real identities.  Information on how to do this can be found at the only web site whose focus is to do just that:  www.heatherwithaccountservices.com.

I got a call the other day from this number and it was an automated voice stating the warranty on my 2003 car was about to expire. What I found odd was that I received a mailing saying that exact same thing a few days prior to receiving the phone call. There were phone numbers to call to "renew" our current warranty (which we don't have, we bought the car used). I ignored it.

Said they could lower credit card interest rate. Said they reviewed Experion credit reports and could lower rates for improved credit scores due to timely payments. Yet they didn't know my payment history or card balances. When I asked if they worked for Experion they said "Yes"! Then asked for telephone number on back of credit card and credit card account number which I refused to give them. Offered to read me the "Fair Credit Reporting Act" or something like that in order to make me feel more comfortable about giving them my number. They said when I was ready to give them the number they would switch me to an operator for the credit card company and would make sure the call was recorded for my protection. No legitimate company would attempt this!!! Caller ID is apparantly spoofed.

Just received the recorded message.  I though it was interesting that they never mention which credit card company wanted to lower my rates, so I pressed 1.  When the operator came on the phone I asked him what credit card this was for and he responded visa and mastercard.  He then wanted my information, which of course I did not give.  I said that I tought it was funny that he couldn't tell me exactly which card he was calling about, and with that he hung up on me.

Received a call from this number today - this is probably the third time but today I answered. It was a recorded message about lowering our credit card interest rate. Said to push #1 for more info so I did. Got some guy - I asked which credit card. He said this is "consumer services" blah blah. I said I would like them to STOP CALLING OUR NUMBER and he hung up on me. Jerk.

I got this call but was out at the time.  They did not leave a message but I noticed the number on my caller id.  Didn't bother calling it back.  Did a google search and found this.  I had the same problem with a number from Washington, DC.  Like everyone else I'm on the do not call list, why are these people calling us.
Can't something be done about this.

Just got in from work and found that a call was made to my phone at 1154am.Of course, no message was left. These people can take their interest rate reductions or extended vehicle warranties and shove them right up their assess. I don't know where these jerks get my name and number from, but this is just ridiculous. Phuck them !!!!!!!!!!

When I answered the phone there was about a 9 second silence, while I repeatedly said hello.  Then the other party hung up. I thought I was a prank call so I hit call-back, and it also said the number was disconnected (odd). So I also googled the number, and was directed to this site.  How can a number be disconnected if they just called me? HMMMMM!

Another call from "Heather" about lowering your interest rates, and of course when you ask to be placed on the "do not call" list they hang up on you immediately.  (I asked to speak to a supervisor; the representative asked for my name, which I declined to give, then asked for my number, and I made the mistake of adding "which is supposed to be on your do not call list", at which point he hung up on me.)

Scott Davis is the guy I spoke with.  He claimed to represent Visa/Mastercard.  He hung up on me twice today 05/05/08 at 10:58 am & 12:55 pm. when I asked to be permanently removed from their lists as stated in the FTC rules for telemarketers.

Automated message about how your vehicle policy is about to expire.

Dial 1 for an operator.

Take matters into you own hands --> speak very softly and get them to listen very, very closely the blow the loudest whistle that you can into the receiver, then hang up.

I hung on when this number called me about credit card interest rate reduction.
When she asked me if I paid my credit card in full each month. I mistakenly said yes, and she said, "Thank you very much" and hung up. When I called the ID number back it was "disconnected".   One time I got this call it was from a
real estate firm in California who told me he gets called in response to the credit card message numerous times but that this number was hijacked from him.

It is time to catch these people, and next time I get this call I am going to say no to full monthly bill payment and go along with what they propose to nab them, I guess.
