The same thing happened to me. They told me they're a collection agency company and wanted me to pay on the spot. Claiming that if I didn't my case would be talking to court. After neglecting to pay them they transferred me to the CEO/ superintendent of the company trying to negotiate payment plans with me.

A Private Number called me yesterday saying I was being served with Papers and wanted my address and gave my this number to call back on with a refrence number. However they didnt say who they were or who was serving me papers, just that they were turning me into the travis county court. This is a scam, you cant get served papers over the phone and they also dont call you to warn you either.
