Receive same postcard re: "UNCLAIMED Reward" for $100 at Wal-Mart or Target; Call 1 855 826 7805
I won't even call the number because I don't want to verify to them my telephone number; to open myself to more annoying scams.

I Just received the exact same post card via USPS today. I called about it and the sales rep has a was very deceptive and very unprofessional. He would not tell me any details about the offers that I would be accepting for "a one time shipping and processing fee of $1.95, charged to my debit card, with no further financial obligation whatsoever".They also refused to identify the company sponsoring this "great promotion". I immediately questioned the fact that, if this is in face, such a great deal for me, why wouldn't the company sponsoring it, be proud to put their name on it. I didn't give him any financial information whatsoever, nor did I fall for this scam. I hung up the phone and saved the phone number as a SCAM:DO NOT ANSWER, incase they tried to make any further contact with me. The phone number was 1-855-679-0119.

I did receive one too (or as it states "recieve") a post card about a $100 gift rebate. So I blocked my number called the Toll Free number 855 - 883 - 5581. The scam artist I spoke with couldn't keep his lies straight! The last thing he said to me was I needed to pay an activation fee with a Visa or Master Card and with that I hung up. Then I called the United States Postal Inspection Service at 877 - 876 - 2455 and filed a report about this fraud scheme. To any of you that has received this post I suggest you do the same to stop these thieves!!

Claim # is 21378925 the toll free number is different from every one else, 1855-371-2293. Thank you all for your comments because I was aware it was a scam.

$100 Walmart gift card was offered to me by all the same types of people and things like 50 phone persons in the back ground ONLY 1 difference how I got to these people, I was calling the number on the back of a Visa gift card checking my balance and got the Indian voice instead of the usual visa greeting, he asked for a credit card of mine needing $7.95 fee to process my Walmart card (insisting they have all my info and know I have a card when I told him I had no credit card I can give him the number to).
I figured out how these people answered my call to a visa gift card when I checked my redialed numbers on my phone and there it was... I miss dialed just 1 number which connected me to the, (Grocery Savings, their scam comp.) They must have loads of phone numbers that match credit card companies off by 1 number and get lucky a lot to make a business out of it. I feel sorry for anyone that gives them their card No. and ruins their credit or causing lots of debt.

I received the postcard today and called the #,1-888-363-9362. She spoke very good English and sounded American, wanted 1.95 by credit card for shipping. I told her my credit card was at the limit and I could not use it today. She had me hold, saying something was wrong with her computer, and came back and said she would not charge the credit card for 2 weeks. I told her no thanks I would pass.

I got one of these cards and they asked for a $1.00 shipping fee. I asked why the fee when your only sending me a letter. A man named alex with a hindu accent said for processing when I told him I would look into it he and call back, he gave me an irritated sigh and hung up.

I received a post card that told me that they were trying to contact me for my reward gift of $100.00 if gift savings at Wal-Mart or Target in my name. When I called they told me it would cost me a dollar on any credit card, if not mine then someone close to me. When I told them I didn't have a card to charge to, then they became upset and repeated it all again. At that time I told them thanks and goodbye.

I also got a call just as I was waking up and the person on the other line had a heaven hindu/indian accent told me that I won 500 dollar gift certificate for a shopping spree. I told them that I don't handle the shopping so how could I have won this s***-stained unclaimed prize? its obviously a scam and decided not to continue further. Someone should report this to the FTC for violation of the DNC rule.

Yes, I got one too - postcard from Clearwater, FL with offer for a Gift Rebate for WalMart or Target.. When I called and they told me there is a 6.68 charge for it, I told them a gift is supposed to be free...so I do not want it; and I hung up
| Ridiculous 2013-08-20 00:27:41 Unknown |
I received the post card in the mail with the same thing, that I had won a 100.00 gift card to target or walmart because I'm such a loyal customer. then proceeded to ask me for 3.95 for shipping and handling. Asked for my credit card info and when I refused they hung up on me. Pricks trying to take hard working peoples money. The number on my card was 1855-793-8198. So it seems theres more then 1 number out there.

I'm so glad I asked, also figured it was a SCAM, so thought I'd ask YAHOO first, I didn't call the number on the card I received (1-855-236-7748), looks as though most recipients of the card did call. Thanks for posting your experiences, will save some of us a lot of hassle...
| mom 2012-06-28 02:08:46 Unknown |
Same scam! It is a scam and nothing but a scam. Beware they are trying to do it through the mail. Now they are offering a $100.00 Wal-Mart card for a "reward". My husband called, got charged, can't reach anyone to cancel, and never got the Wal-Mart card! I will keep calling the numbers that they called us on--but one is already disconnected. BBB and the Internet Crime Complaint Case Center at 1-800-251-3221 or www.IC3.gov might help.
