I got a text message from 18584300286@message.com that read "You have received a new security message. CaLL now toll. free : 1 858 430 0286 to hear it."  exactly like that with the same capitalization and punctuation. I called the number and they tell me that some one from an IP address in India has been trying to log in to my credit card account and that I need to verify that I still have the card by entering in the card number.  So i just pressed the # key and then a guy with an english accent came on and repeated that i needed to enter my credit card number, i then pressed the # key again and the line disconnected. This is a phishing phone number and text message.

Weird, I tried calling and there is a busy signal.

I just got this text. It comes from a "3650" number. Says the same thing Amy and Jay just wrote, except whoever sent it spelled "free" wrong, lol. I called, knowing it was bogus, and some operator who's voice sounded like she was gargling came on and asked for info. I hung up and laughed.

My son recieved the text message and entered the card number but not the pin. than called the bank and canceled the card.
sounds like a super scam for unsuspecting people. wake up and smell the coffee before you call anyone who is asking for your info. if its your bank they already know your bank account number you don't need to provide it. call your bank back to confirm if they called about a fraudulent claim.

when I called it out of curiosity, it stated that someone had used my credit card without my authorization and that this call was from India to obtain my credit card information that they needed, they wanted all numbers, including the back numbers of the credit card, i hung up.

I just received a message from a # 3533 and it has a 18584300286@tmomail.net address and the message said to call now fre: 1 858 430 0286 to hear it, I first wanted to check that # because it looked very suspicious,so I google it and found this page, I will not call them, but what I'll do is call T-Mobile since past messages said they also have T-Mobile, and I'll call the police so this people stop doing this scam.

Please everybody don't give out your personal info to anyone, specially over the phone!!!

SCAM, the word FREE was spelled incorrectly on my text msg too. It was spelled: FRE.

I wonder if T-Mobile is giving out private info because I was checking my bill online and a few minutes later, I received the text.

i got the text and called back..it wanted my credit card # and all the other # that would let someone use my card..the joke is on them...i don't have any cards..so i gave them

I didn't call. I delted it after doing a google search and found this site.

I was in class today and I got two of those text messages asking me to call them for the message. They said that it was from india so I hung up the phone. I think that someone from tmobile has information and they are trying to scam everyone. I called the local police department and they said dont give no one the information. Please no one call these people they are looking to scam you.

Very strange because today I called to T-mobile and I removed easy-pay billing form. This was the second time because I remowed easy pay-option month ago but they signed me again because  they said they had technical problems....and system bringed me back automatic. 20 minutes after I received a text message from 18584300286@message.com ?

Never return those scam calls.

I also received a text message asking me to call this number and verify my credit card. The do not specify what credit card. Message shows up in inbox as coming from number 3514.

I have five of these currently in my inbox, from different senders (identified by only 4 digits) all slightly different but with the same scam - call this number and give us your credit card account #. Some claim to have a credit union affiliation (Sooper CU).

i TOO RECIEVED 2 TEXTS FROM 858-430-0286 AND i CALLED IT AND AN AUTOMATED SYSTEM WANTS TO HELP STOP SOMEONE IN INDIA THAT IS USING MY CREDIT CARD. THEY ASK FOR THE CC#, PIN#, ACCESS # ON THE BACK OF THE CARD AND EXPIRATION DATE. A REAL SCAM FOR SURE. REPORTED IT TO THE FEDERAL AUTHORITIES AND I AM SURE THESE PEOPLE WILL BE IN PRISON NO MATTER WHERE IN THE WORD THEY ARE.

I received a text message from this number that stated that I have a new message from my credit union. I have never been a customer of any credit union.
