866-460-7442 hang up calls when traced back- reconn/recomm energy deduction 15%

They called yesterday. I mistakenly answered as I was waiting for return call from a doctor.. Caller ID says 800 service. Said they were Rescon and could save me energy on my electric bill. They wanted me to get copy of my bill and they would tell me how much I would save. I told them the company we get electric from and she said they could save me $2.00 a kilowatt.  I doubt that! I asked what source they got for their energy - like wind power? Of course the reply was that they get the energy from wind power source. Since those sources usually cost more than regular sources I really doubt it cost less. When I asked how they could charge less than I was paying the lady said they buy energy from various sources and resell it. I asked if they would send me info but she just said to call her back or she would call me back as I told her I couldn't talk any more at this time.  May not be complete scam but sounds iffy to me.

resconn energy or rescomm energy... They claim to be the company that supplies my power company with power. They said that they can reduce my power bill by 15%. They couldn't tell me what company I used though and asked me to get my bill and give them the info off of it. Never give these scammers any info! I called back to be taken off of the calling list and they hung up on me a few times. On the last try I asked again and she responds with a sarcastic sounding "yeah" and promptly hangs up on me.
