Had phone off, received voice mail message from this number. Message stated that it was an attempt to collect a debt, company name was MiraMed. Am certain it is an attempt to collect a medical debt, as I am on disability, yet not eligible for Medical Assistance, so I have very little money to send towards my many medical bills.
Sadly, I have no other choice but to block their calls. My priorities are to try and keep my electricity on a little bit of food, and purchase some of my medications, I am unable to afford all of them so go without some.

they have been calling and leaving a v/m for my husband. we do have medical bills but have payment arrangments made with the hospital and doctor so there is no reason to be calling about the bills.

I Keep getting automated calls from this number . The message always cuts off before I can hear the name. I called back and finally got hold of someone . She asked my # , my name , address DOB and SS# . She refused to tell me who she was , who she was calling for and why she was calling . It is illegal for debt collectors NOT to identify themselves people . If this is a legitimate collection agency , they are required by law to identify themselves and they cannot refuse to answer when you do not give them compromising personal information ( dob , ss#) . I told the lady to remove my # as it was a cell and I did not give them permission to call , she hung up .

The poster wrote they're in Lumbard, IL.  Ha ha.  It is spelled "Lombard."  I live nearby.  Got the messages this week.

This is obviously some scumbag that is attempting to make you believe this crapppp!!     They are the lowest form of human (sub) existence and just attempting to get your money (their god).     Who else would have a business like this!!!!

Got a call....wanted me to verify ss and date of birth....I asked who are you, they said they would not tell me until I confirmed the information.  I said no way and they hung up on me.  I was comprised yesterday, had to close my account, call all my creditors as my life is on autopay.

Ah, yes, showcasing the high IQ required to be a debt collector.  Lowlife scum.

The have been calling me for the last month to verify my zip code and identification. I refuse to give info and they are persisting calling tell me the will call me later even if I do not want to. A man with the name Brian tell that I better receive his calls. The

have no idea who this is but they call every day about 10 times a day

The person from this number called and left a message that said it was very important that I return the call ASAP and gave a reference number, and left this number (866-910-2605 )so I can return the call. I do not know who it is from or what they want so I blocked the number.

This is a valid number for a medical collection agency. I just called them back and paid my bill. Person I spoke with was friendly and helpful in looking up my information, since I had no reference number. I don't understand why anyone thinks this is some kind of scam! If you owe money to a company, and you don't pay, then you should anticipate getting calls from a collection agency. For all those griping at getting phone calls because you can't/don't want to pay your bills, remember that these people at collection agencies are just doing their jobs so that they can pay their bills and don't deserve to be treated less than professionally.

Don't have caller ID on home phone so not sure about  #. But twice in a bout 2 wks got call from some revenue group, the message was hard to hear but sounded like mirmar or something, anyway they called about a debt, i guess, owed by my dad who passed away in Nov 2010. Message said to contact Tiffany and left a reference # but no way to contact them.

Received message upon arriving home, called back, no answer, left message for call back before I found this website.  Sorry I called the number back.  The message said it was about personal business but not what kind.

Okay, this person who works for Mira Med Revenue Group, sounds pretty much like the person you'll talk to on the phone.  Medical debts, for a lot of people, are something that's hard to pay.  No insurance makes it very difficult especially when your wife has to have a tumor removed the size of a basketball which resulted in a complete hysterectomy.  These so-called "contractors" are just debt collectors who've bought the bill from the hospital at a reduced rate and then they try collecting on the original debt.  They are leeches in my opinion and have no conscience at all.  Anyway, this is really off topic for WhoCallsMe, but since 'Collector' said what they said I couldn't resist replying.  
Debt collectors should have to take a course in humanity!!  We should follow the laws of God when it comes to these types of things.

This is hilarious to read all of this because i actually work for Mira Med Revenue Group which is phone number 866-910-2605. I can assure you we are a ligit company and we are definately not based out of Canada or Russia we are based out of Lumbard, Il. We are contracted through many physicians groups and hospitals to collect on past due bills. It's funny that people get mad at us for calling them when were not the one who created the debt nor are we the one who's credit its going to affect it's YOUR'S!!!! And legally were required to verify a piece of information (dob, ss, zip) in order to speak with anyone regarding the act.And would you want somebody calling your work identifying themselves as a collection agency? I understand its hard to trust people now a days but you only make the situation worse on yourself. Bottom line pay your bills and we wont call!!! LOL!

I got a letter with notice of amt due, and said i agreed-have no idea if they are ligit-gave them or whoever they are to take money out of my account-did not!!! I cannot and will not pay this!  Called the bank.

automated message, when i call back, cant reach human. the automated voice tries to "transfer me" but when it cant, gives you no message as to who they are or why they are calling. when i call with my caller id blocked it rings busy.

I had a v.m. from 866-910-2605 that said I needed to call them with a reference #.  No answer when the call was returned.  Sounds like a scam to me, so I will call my phone company today.

Automated message, content as above. I stayed on the line to get the company name & number. "Candy," the caller, gave me this number (don't have caller ID) and company name Miramed. Claimed to be calling because I had sent them my number & asked them to call. Not true. Requested to speak to supervisor; put on hold; no follow-up answer.
