Scam I agree. Asked for my info and said they wanted me to take the extra money they were sending me for some furniture I was selling and pay a shipper with it. Seemed fishy when they insisted I take my Craigslist ad down to show I was 'serious' about the purchase. Some people are sorry. Always tell them once you talk to them you'll move forward. Some scam artists will be done at that point. Be careful!

Have been texting back and forth with this number which contacted me through craigslist as I was selling a set of tires.  They sent me a check for 5 times the amount of the purchase.  My bank informed me that once I deposited the money and sent them a check for the remainder, there check would bounce.  Leaving me responsible! I hate a thief..

responded to my craigs list ad, when i asked them to call they aggressively pursued my paypal acct info. When I insisted on talking they stopped contact v quickly, but not before attempting to get my info without comprimising their identity..scam. Altough it is a Chicago area code, the coverage area is in India..you have been warned!!!!
