Said I won publisher's clearing house 3.5 million dollars and a brand new car. Just had to buy a money card at Walgreen's for $4.99 and pay $500.00 activation fee. Also said money would be wire transferred to my account. Like to know how that is going to happen without me giving out my account info? Scam, scam, scam,

And if you google your name, places like spokeo come up with info that isn't always right too! I couldn't believe what was posted up on ours, I made them remove it. It was such a tall tale I had to laugh. Very misleading info.  I suggest folks should make them remove it, google the phone number also, have it removed any place it crops up.

There are shady web sites where you can buy lists of phone numbers, addresses, credit card numbers, even Social Security numbers. I expect the price varies a lot depending on what you want but I'm not about to go checking criminal web sites to find out because they often harbor malware (viruses and such).

Or they may just be using a "robo-dialer" (computer) that dials numbers sequentially.

Where has this person gotten a list of names with phone numbers???

Scam!!! Same stupid message, he said i won 5 million dollars from Publishers Clearing House, and I HAVEN'T ENTERED ANY SWEEPSTAKES, idiots, evil scammers!!

He said I won 1.5 million dollars, and I started to question him why he was calling from jamaica. "it is a satellite number," he told me. I asked why it wasn't a local number, and he hung up.
Some kind of scam I am sure. I should have played along to get more information. Ha. Call it back, you get a fake voicemail. "Hello, this is mr. andy gillmore," leave a message... blablabla "...may the lord bless you."

I answered and they just hung up

Don't pick up. It's a scam. He told me that I won 850000.00 for shopping at Walmart. When I started questioning him, he hung up.
