First call to my teenage son's phone, he pretended he was w/ money tree & when I didn't cooperate, said "so you don't want your million dollars & mercedes?" REALLY? Very next day, called & said he was from the sheriff's dept & was investigating someone stealing my prize. I laughed and said are you kidding me, you just called yesterday? He goes on to "prove" that he's legit. I said ok, what county? He said "F you, you seem like a b---- anyway." I laughed & said your mother. Seriously, how can you stop these calls?

Yep it's a scammer from Jamaica trying to get you to Western Union $$ to a Marita Thompson in Portland, Jamaica. Scumbag

ME AND MY HUSBAND GOT THE SAME PHONE CALL,AND HE JUST WON'T STOP TRYING TO CONVINCE US THAT HE IS NOT A SCAM ARTIST.

The same number and guy possibly just called my mother, who is elderly, and informed her of the same thing. He also asked if she wanted it to be televised. He told her to go to Western Union and send $250 dollars and he would call back in an hour. Not even 10 mins later he calls asking if she had sent the money. Of course she hadn't. Now he keeps calling and calling back to back.

Yea, I had the same thing happen to me. I got really excied and actually went to Western union to see if I can mke this fake process better. The guy, Mr. Jessy -Did not give any further name than that, told me that I am luckyand that I'll be recieving 1.5 Million dollars. When I chit chatted to the cashier, she pretty much broke it down for me. I owe her one. Even still, aothr red flag was the fact that I could not call him back. After waiting  a moment he calls me back and asks if I made the purchase of the reciept. BEFORE all of this though he told me he would be at my house within the next thirtyminutes to an hour. AFTER I lie to him and tell him that I did make the purchase, he aske for aten digit number. Igave him ten fake ones. After that he tells me that within the next FIVE HOURS hell let me know. I confronted him and ask him "Werent yall coming over within the next tirty to an hour. He starts running circles with his words and starts rambling on about a package and be expecting it in a black an yellow truck... Yeah... I'm not an idiot. I was doing my research as soon as the pone came through. Not to mention he convinced m that it was true by asking if I wanted it televised. Pshhh!! Cant play me for a fool.

Beware area code 876 is Jamaica. If you call them, you'll have to pay international rates. The number may be a premium rate number like our 900 numbers that charge a lot of money per minute. If you don't know anyone in Jamaica, it's highly likely a scammer.

OH YES , THIS SAME # CALLED 4 TIMES AND SAID HE WAS GOING TO COME OVER TO MY HOUSE AND KILL ME,, SO THE LOCAL POLICE ARE ON THIER WAY TO FILE A REPORT AND I AM LOCKED AND LOADED

Got a call from this number.  Called and said I have won my part of 25k.  When I ask to be taken off their telemarketing list, the guy said F*CK U!!!
