I missed the call but called the number back and it was ADT checking on the recent installation of a home security system.
Was asked a few questions about the install, completely legit.

I got a call I would consider a very brief survey. It was from ADT checking on my satisfaction and knowledge of the system, verified my address and primary/secondary phone numbers, asked how I heard about them, and if I received signs and stickers. Since I didn't get stickers they are going to send them out. Seems legit. I didn't have to give out any information at all, just had to confirm whether or not the info ADT had was correct. I didn't wait on hold at all, as soon as I answered there was a live person.

Received a call from ADT from the number. Took a while for it to connect, but they were just calling to verify the contact information that they had received, verify that I am happy with the installation, and how I was even contacted to sign up for the service.

It is ADT.  I recently bought their security system & they were just verifying my contact information.

1-877-238-3312 showed on caller ID. Upon answering a recording announced " Do not hang up I have a very important call (or message) for you, attempting to connect" The attempt part of the message was repeated twice before "unable to connect at this time, sorry for the inconvienance I'll try again later" then disconnected. I checked the number on Google. It stated ADT, so I called it back. It is a new customer slash account information validation number, a human actually answers and is extremely polite. They did not ask for any information just stated the information from our sign-up form for accuracy; name, address and contact numbers. Then asked if I had any questions. They even transfered me to tech to learn how to turn down the automated voice announcement service.

Same thing here. We just recently moved and had it all switched over some dept. keeps calling asking if they can verify out address but they have called NUMEROUS amount of times and ask the same thing. I'd call back and who ever I talk with says ' our dept. has not called,' And what made it really weird is that they called my husbands phone when my number is the primary and I never received a call that day. Oh well can't wait until the call again how annoying !!

This caller left a voice mail saying it's from adt and he wants to verify some information.

HAD ADT SYSTEM INSTALLED A FEW DAYS AGO,  PROCESS OF DEDUCTION AND COINCIDENCE OF PREVIOUS COMMENTS, THIS IS ADT!

Had an ADT alarm installed this past weekend, suspect it is their automated system calling me.

well I called instead the main ADT customer service number and they said nobody from ADT called me, sounds like a scam

If you recently had an ADT security system installed, they are calling to see how your installation went. I was on hold for a few minutes, but a real person did pick up the phone.

Same thing. Can't connect. What a freaking nuisance.

It is ADT, they keep calling me saying "trying to connect" but can't ever connect. I called the number back and it is ADT Customer Service

this number calls and over the machine keeps calling my name.

That is a legit number from ADT, I got a call this morning from that number and he was checking out the ADT Security System that was installed on Sat.

I Googled the number, too. And it came up that it is a legitimate number.

I received a call from this number this morning to verify that my ADT Security System had been installed on Saturday.

Also wanted to know if I were happy with the guys who did the work.

This is a legitimate number.

Same as Ashlee.  Assume it is ADT checking on recent installation, but call wouldn't connect.  Seems strange.

Looking on here, I'm assuming this must be ADT trying to check back on my recent installation. I'm confused as to why the call won't connect. Hmm...
