Charles Jones keeps calling me and telling me he is a legal carrier for serving papers on me and i need a legal id and signature when he comes to my house or employment to serve the papers.he gave me this number to call 877-297-7553 and i called it and voicemail picks up it is a law office of Anthony Rodriques.not sure what the heck this is all about i have never received a letter in mail on anything so what to do??

ALL, please pay attention to this. I just got off the phone with Cashnetusa's Fraud Dept and they stated "We do not have third party companies calling for us.I am not sure why they called you. It sound like a fraud call"

JP - do not send these people one penny of your money - this is a scam.  What they are doing is tryikng to scare you into paying - Call you originbal loan holdedr - they will confirm this  - do not use the numberts these people gave you

receive call today from 877-343-0233. from Mr. gavin McClain. he told me he was collecting a debt from check n go. it was originally 350 but he said because of internal investigation fees and clementation restoration it was now going to be $2234. i asked what steps i take fromthis point and he said it was to late because i was red flagged and had been served and jsut had to appear in court. i told him i was never served and he said then i had a lucky opportunity to take care of it out of court if i could pay it today over the phone it would only be 450. i told him i didnt have a card i could pay over hte pay and he gave me the option to go pay it by money gram tonight. and that he would send me a confirmation email that he recieved and marked my file paid in full. i am going to contact check n go first before i pay anything to anybody.

I have been receiving the same calls from a person that goes by the name of David Malorie, Told me the same exact statments as everyone else. Told me he was working with the law offices of Anthony Rodrigues in Erie PA. The calls I did get were from a Private number and the message told me to call 877-328-8413.  They said I was going to be served some legal papers with a court date. I called the number back and spoke with David he explained that they were taking me to court for a little over 2k. He also gave me the option of paying 979.04 today for them not to persue going through the court. I said I could not afford that right now and he put me on hold saying he was going to speak with Anthony and he came back on and said that he could take a payment of 10% so it would not be processed further. Then a bi weekly payment of 110 until the debit is paid off. He then went off the line again and came back on and said i could settle it for 500 dollars. I did end up giving him my card information and told him i would not have the funds until Friday. For some reason I had a gut feeling to try and look this up on the internet and well here I am good thing for gut feelings. I called in my card as lost so it was cancelled I am sooooooooo glad I looked this up and not just went with it. I would of never thought that fraud like this is now to this extent. I just want to thank everyone for putting posts up to help inform the public as to what is going on.

A Mr Green, called me last week, stating that I had a debt that has been on going from 2007 with Cash Net USA.  He was leaving a message for me on my voice mail.  He stated that " he will be arriving at my house to serve me court paper work, to have my CADL ready, nothing personal "its just business"."
I was not at home, I was working.  So I was frantic, I called the number back.  And this a Rep named : Brian answered the phone.  He told me that the original debt was from Cash Net USA for $191.47, but since it is 3 yrs old, it has accrued interest to $411.82.  I told this man, I did not have $411.82 to spend on anything.  He told me that we could clear this debt right now for the original $191.47.  I told him that I did not have any money, my payday isn't until tuesday.  So he says, he could hold and process a payment for $250.00 on tuesday (7/6/10).  I asked why $250? He says since they are not receiving any money today, they have to recuporate some of the interest as a convience / holding fee, for the delayed payment.  Ok, I agreed.  I gave them my credit card number to clear this debt.  And If for any reason the amount is declined for insufficient funds, the full amount is due immediately.  And the settlement is void.

So this morning I start to freak out because they have not taken payment.  So I called the original debt holder: Cash Net USA.  I was informed that the account had not been turned over to any law office for litagation.  AIS, was the account holder since 2007.  My rep, Jeffery, told me to contact the bank to stop payment on the transaction.... I cancelled the credit card.  I called AIS back and paid the debt in full.  Jeffery told me to report it with the Federal Trade Commission, this is my next step.  I accidently deleted the voicemail message, but I have contact info for the company.  I am about to turn over all info in the morning.  Supposedly a Mr. Lovallo is the Director of the Firm / Debt collections his extension is 102.  Anthony H Rodriguez Law Offices does not exist.  The Rep says it is located in New York.  I will keep you updated on any new developements.
