I just got my second text today.  The first time I got it, it was from 1234, and had a 734 area code call back number.  When I called with a blocked ID (I knew it was a scam, hence the block), it didn't work.  Today, the message the same, but with a 1-800 call back number.  When I called (again, with a blocked ID), it gave me a message from the supposed credit union, saying that the call cannot be completed as dialed.  I am guessing it doesn't like blocked ID's.  I am a Sprint customer as well, so I am wondering if it is affecting specifically Sprint customers.  I wish they would do something about it.

This is the 2nd time I received this text message! But this time the call back number is different. The first message said to call a Texas number at 512-501-4761. And this one states to call 877-384-5172. This is totally a scam! Beware!

When you call the number (1-877-384-5172) the automated message contains a number of glaring grammatical errors: "Enter your sixteen digits debit card number following by the pound key"
I managed to enter a random string of 16 digits that the system liked. It then asked for the expiration date and finally for a 4 digit PIN.  It then told me that my card had been reactivated and no further action was required.  Boy that's a relief.

I received this same "short mail" message yesterday and today.  Yesterday I was with 3 other people, 2 of whom also have Sprint cell phone service.  Within a 1 hour time span, the 3 of us with the Sprint service all received the same message.  None of us have any accounts with Community Driven Credit Union.

This is definitely a SPAM text.  2nd time I've gotten it.  I don't have an account with this credit union.  Don't call the number or text them back!  I wish my carrier Sprint would crack down on this.  If this keeps happening, we might be inundated with text messages all day long!

This is a identity theft scam your bank would never ask for card info and pins over the phone or via text message.

They first text my cell with a message as if it were a friend about a week ago, now I get one telling me to call some # because my ATM is cancelled. I called the number and even tried to text back.  When you get through the number, which is automated it asks is you want to reactivate your card enter 1 or 2 then you hit one to say yes..it asks for your card #.. I put in all kinds of bs numbers and it recognized them as invalid. Interesting.  So when I text I got a msg back that read the shortcode Ia m attempting to use has expired and is no longer valid. msg1051.  Definitely a scam!!!!!  I wonder how they got my number.  It just started happening about a week ago...
