Those ancient posts do not get any reply's sent out.Nor do any new one. There is no email reply notification, so replying is a wasted effort really. There's no need to reply to ancient posts anyway since the OPs will never see them unless they come back to this particular thread anyway which is highly doubtful. And BTW, Yef didn't say anyplace they where calling her. You Assumed something that wasn't!

Because there are so many people who ignore their credit problems, and feel like when they get a call from a reputable company, they can ignore them or call them names, the problem will go away. Believe me, the best way to handle credit problems is to face them head on and work with the people to who the debt is owed. I worked for GE on the phones every day. If you are willing to work with them, they will do everything they can to help you pay your debt.
Please don't get upset because I'm trying to help. Maybe you have some constructive comments for those who have gotten in over their head.

people are calling and saying you owe money and its a debt that needs to be paid off and you have a bill that's been sitting in there acct for years look into it before giving your bank acct info or any credit card info this company is a scam they take lots of money from people that owe nothing so the people on here saying pay your bills and calling a scumbag will I paid a bill that I didn't owe and they walked away with a lot of money from me

This is just one of MANY numbers GE Money uses to HARASS customers for payment on bills. I have logged at least 13 different numbers they use and every time they come up with a new number (to me), I add it to my list of blocked callers. Contrary to what some here may say or think, they do NOT work with the customer. They do not care about anything except getting their payment and do not care, work with you, or even try to help. And anyone who comes on here from "GE Money" or one of their cronies claiming otherwise is full of BS.

First and foremost - YOU ARE FULLOF CRAP! I get calls from GE Money for at least 15 different people, no of which is me! I don't have a GE Money credit card. I never have had one. And - NEWS FLASH - I NEVER WILL HAVE ONE! No matter how often I ask that my cell # be removed from GE's data base, it never happens. I have been called a liar when I tell GE CSR's that I am not who they are calling for. When I tell them that I have had my cell # for YEARS, they actually laugh and scoff "Right!". So do not try to tell me what wholesome, caring and compassionate folks work for GE Money!

It is Lowes calling. They keep calling even though I have contacted them 4 times in the last two days. I do not owe anything, they have a screw up on their side. When I asked to talk to a supervisor, they refuse to transfer me. I had to call their "real" number to complain today again. I no longer answer because of the rude people they have making their calls. Use Americans who speak and understand English and more people would answer the calls.

Got a call from them Sat morning about 11 a.m. It was from GE Money. They're a credit card co. owned by General Electric, which also owns NBC. I had applied for a credit card online at ShopNBC.com. They were just calling to ask questions about/verify my application.
They ask 3 or 4 questions that are multiple-choice and are based on public records... but things that fraudsters wouldn't know. For instance, they ask "In what county is 123 Main Street?" (which would have been a previous address of yours).
When you apply, it says you'll be considered for the ShopNBC MasterCard (or was it Visa?) and if you're not approved for it then you'll be considered for the ShopNBC credit card, which can only be used for their stuff they sell on their ShopNBC TV channel. The response I got back after I submitted my app online was that I'd be notified by mail of their decision, which I thought meant I was denied for both cards. But after they asked their questions over the phone, they said "Congratulations, you're approved".

the number is from GE Money it comes back to one of thier call centers they provide credit card service to multi stores if you are having problems ask to speak with a manger best way to deal with it or have yourself removed from the auto dialer systems if the information is in correct

They have been calling 3 time a day for the last 10 days. If it continues 4 more days I'll report it to the FCC. They are asking for a person that doesn't live here. My wife answered once a hung up on them. They just don't quit.
