I am in total agreement, these ppl r terrible, i made a deal with them that i would pay 25.00 a month towards my debt, and they treat me like crap they call once a month to ensure i will make my payment. They said because i wad attempting to pay it they would take it off my credit bureau but they havent so now im stuck paying them for god only knows how long and cant even get a loan which i applied for today and eas turned down because of that. I had a car that i got talked into by ford and couldnt pay for it the payments wete too high, i called them to come get the car which ford did but still ecpect me to pay for it...so unfair

The reason they have your information is because when you take loan you have to write named of reference. When your ex went to take out loan(especially if its moneymart/cash store/payday loans) he must have written your name and number as a Reference that how it works in the collection agency i work at.  All you have to do is tell them firmly "Please Remove my number from your list I do not want to be contacted" They will remove the number, by law if you are a reference they should remove it UNLESS the person who took loan listed your number a primary contact number or he spoke to the collection agency through your number then they wont remove it.

if you had to give your email they would most likely send you a file explaining the debt amount and when you took it. Stupid dumb fk

I worked at this place few  3 weeks ago the one in Toronto - Gordon Baker Rd. The manager over there named Natasha leca is such a btch. she is very rude to the employee and swears. She needs to get fired.

I have just filed a complaint with The better Business Bureau about this " Group " calling my home phone number for absolutely no reason. These are computer phone calls that are annoying and wasting my time and energy. I urge all other affected people to file a complaint and request an investigation. I received no assistance whatsoever when I called this " group " back.

They are calling me non stop on my cell phone for a person I don't know.  I have had the phone a few years and these calls started recently - I have called and told them I am not the person they are looking for and the calls have persisted anyway.
Really annoying. Not sure what to do about it.

I sent them an email asking to be removed form their calling list.  I was very nice and polite by asking for their help and that they had the wrong number.

Within one day, I received an email reply sating that my number would be rep=moved and an apolgy.

Nope.  The poster merely found out his/her rights under the law.  And a question: why would your husband allow his EX to remain as an authorized user on HIS credit card?  HE has to take some responsibility for not removing her from the card in the first place.

Because of peice of crup ppl like you normal hard working ppl who actually pay their bills got screwd ALL THE TIME. Me and my husband had to pay for his ex on the join card he used ones to buy groceries for the family. Bi*** wreked up $45 000 on it,then run for a while and when declared bankruptcy. And we had to settle with them. Hate ppl like you!!! You are the scum on the face of Earth.

Call nightly by computer generation asking for a person we don't know and who has never lived at this address. We have tried to speak with them and they plainly accuse us of lying.  This followed us from one home to another over 10 years.  

be very careful, the called and claimed my ex owed the money, after contaction the original company they claimed the debt was from the company themselves said that all accounts had been paid when the account was closed. Do your homework, be fore making any payments it could be a fraud.

My husband finally answered a phone # that kept calling him. SAME SCAM!!! They told him he owed over $900 to Bell Canada from 12 yrs ago and that the amount was now over $2000 because of interest. Told my husband if he gave them $1000 by Friday they would consider the debt settled. Funny thing is my husband had a Bell account in 2008-2009, and now again we are with Bell. Let's take these scammers DOWN ASAP!!!!

Hi. I'm from Ontario and contacted the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General (416-326-2220). ACRM has been calling my father's business phone asking for an individual who doesn't live at their address. After explaining my situation with the associate, I was briefly told to contact the police. Is it really that simply?

This has got to be a scam. Called me about owing Bell Canada over $2,000 from 14 years ago. They did not have a bell acct # or service address to give me. Called bell, gave my details, Bell has no records me owing anything overdue EVER. I've been a Bell customer since then - why would I only hear about this now?? From the other listing here I have to say this is a SCAM - do not give these crooks money, call the police like I am!

If people want to get organised and go against these companies, I suggest they start posting. I will be happily ready to lead the charge and take out Paul Esteves.

As well, contact this company and find the name of a single individual. Once you do, flood their email with another account. There are lots of "spam services" online that will send spam to these email addresses. Just let it do it's thing.

But, threaten the individual you talk to. Hold them responsible for everything that is going on. Understand they will not only remove your name from their database but will transfer it to a new one.

Again, if people want to get organised, I will be happy to start leading a charge.  These people are violating the law and it's time to hold them accountable.

You guys are a joke company that buys debts that cannot be collected for dirt cheap and harress people thinking they will pay for anyone these do***e bags are doing this to check your credit report because that is there threat but most of the debts are so old they cannot touch you

These people keep calling all day long for a phone bill that I never even had a phone line with in my life.  The call my cell, my work, my home at all hours and I am going to call the BBB and have a lawyer deal with this immediately.  I will no longer allow them to harass me.   Life is too short for companies to beable to do this to people and to call and threaten people.

This is an extremely abusive collections agency.  They started calling me about a debt of someone with the same last name, but not the same first name as me.  It seems they just go through the phone directory calling everyone with a certain last name.  This is supposedly illegal.  

I just caller blocked em.

Maybe it's time to spam the spammers.  Send 'em 100 faxes a day, with caller ID blocked- LOL
Also, on some fax machines you can start piece of legal paper feeding, grab it quickly and tape it in a circle with scotch magic tape, and it'll just go and go and go . .  LOL let 'em get 100s of sheets of < SCAMMERS > coming out of their machine - LOL

I keep getting calls for a Joyce O'Hara, stupid recorded message asked me to press 2 if I was not Joyce, and then instead of routing me to,,,,Action Collection Agency....They call at midnight Next time I'm gonna call the 1-866 number they give me to tell them to go F*** themselves this a bachelor, I live here, alone. Asked my landlords never heard of a Joyce O'HARA
