Got a text message from this number.

I wonder what list they got our numbers from. I got the same text at 1:56 a.m. last night. This is the first time I've ever gotten any sort of spam. hmmm... where did i enter my phone number recently?

I received a text message from the "fcu" saying i had unusual activity as well at 3:00am, my boyfriend also received the same text around the same time.

I got a text message from this phantom portal alliance fcu saying they closed my account due to unusual activity.
I called my bank to verify... it's a phishing scam. When I tried to call the number from a public phone it says that the call cannot be completed at this time.

same text message. never heard of these fools but they're def. trying to get peoples identity/money. don't respond!

Well that reply text just cost you about 500$, hope the licking nuts comment was worth it.

My step daughter just got the same call.  She DOESN't have an account with them, but I do.  B*****ds.

Same as the other reports.  Just got it at 8:30 EDT.  No account with Port Alliance FCU.

Got a text message from a company claiming to be port alliance fcu (federal credit union) saying my account was closed due to unusual activity.  I don't have an account with this bank.  I went online to look it up and the bank has a warning on it's home page that there is some kind of fraud going on with text messages and phone call being made using their bank's name.

Got a text message saying Port Alliance FCU closed due to unusual activity and to call this number. I HAVE NO ACCOUNT WITH ANY SUCH CREDIT UNION.
