Just called to speak with me. I answered (which is unusual because I don't normally answer numbers I don't know) and pretended like I was my sister. They offered to call back at another time, but refused to leave a number for "Heather" to call back at. Just referred to it as "Online business" which the only "Online business I do is on EBay and I'm pretty sure EBay would of left a call back number.

if i decide ti answer an unknown caller number, i have fun by answering 'gloria's girdle, bra and panty shop, we have all sizescolors makes and models what are your sizes?'  usually i get a hang up, but i have fun with anybody foolish enough to stay on the line.  i acutally did sell a blackpolka dot bikini panty one timebut after i almost had their credit card number they hung up.

Got a call from a farily nice chap a few months ago talking about a service called Credit Alert. They mentioned I could gain access to my credit report and could also help prevent fraudulent use of my information. I hadnt checked my score in a while and waslooking to apply for a mortgage soon so I signed up. I think it is a great service I received my credit report in the mail a week or so after I signed up with lots of helpful tips about how I could improve my score from fair to good. I moved houses and changed my address a little while after that and just as the service promised I recieved a notification saying that there were changes made to my credit report and it showed me the address change. It made me think YES if it hadnt been me I would have caught a fraudster trying to scam me.

Call from (877) 549-2152 says it's American Income about a job.  I never applied for a job with them and they keep calling me.

I answered and they said they were from the Royal Bank , but I was wondering... the caller seemed much more aggressive than normal, started trying to sign me up without waiting for me to say yes. I told them I needed to speak with my husband, and I asked them to call back in a week, and she was like "... are you not going to see your husband tonight?" It seemed very rude to me.

It seems they are calling on behalf of Royal Bank to offer a feature to protect against identity theft. It took them a while to respond after I picked up likely because their autodialer passes the call to an agent only after it recognizes the call has actually been answered. I tried to just ignore the calls but they've been calling daily for the past few weeks. I assume you gotta tell them you're not interested to prevent them from constantly trying to reach you.

I keep receiving calls from this number at all times at the day and it's so annoying. Sometimes I just answer the call and let them sit there and say "hello" a bunch of times before hanging up. Just a little payback I guess. Does anybody know how to block this number? I'm assuming this stuff isn't legitimate so I'm just going to keep messing with their heads because it's funny to turn the tables on them.

This number has been calling 2-3 times per day for approx 2 weeks as early as 8am and as late as 11pm.  Answered once and no one was there, have not answered since.  No voicemail left.

I have been receiving calls daily from this number for about a week. Answered today, had a lady tell me she worked for BRI and was calling on behalf of the Royal Bank. She wanted to sell me some kind of protection for my credit card I have with Royal Bank. Repeatedly told her I wasn't interested. Two and a half minutes later, I get off the phone. I'm not sure if RBC even uses a third party as credit protection..... And I was a little skeptical of her saying that this program (for $8.99 a month plus GST) gives you price adjustments on things you use your card on that later go on sale in a print ad.... Ummm HTH would it do that?

It is BRI, a company that calls for major banks and insurance companies. Call the number back, listen to the message and you will get an option to be put on their no-call list. They say it will be 72 hours for it to be added, guess they do it all by eraser. I just did it so we'll see.

So I tried calling them to get on the do not call list... they ended the call, twice. Has this happened to anyone else?

If you call the number back and listen to the automated message there is a prompt to put your phone number onto their Do Not Call List.

I called the number back and there is an automated message, when you listen to the message it allows you the option to enter your phone number onto their Do Not Call List.

I get called 2-3 times a day and no one is ever on the other end of the line.

We got this call twice a day on our home line.  One in the morning and one in late afternoon, it is annoying!!   wish something can be done about this 877-549-5737.

I too have been getting daily calls from this number for a few weeks now.  They call at all times of the day, often more than once a day.  I'm getting sick of it.

i've been getting calls from them at all hours of the day for 2 weeks now. i got one at 1pm today and one just now at nearly 9pm! really annoying.

I don't have an account with RBC but I just got my new phone number. It's probably been recycled by Bell.

I just looked at my phone records and have been getting two calls a day from this number for the past week! I've never picked up until today I was so fed up that I decided to answer.
The salesperson for BRI tried to sell me their identity theft insurance for my RBC Visa card. They give you one month free to "try out" the service and then charge you $8.99 a month unless you cancel it.
So I had to say I wasn't interested and didn't want to pay for this service.. They tried to get me to agree to the one month free, but I know I'm going to forget to cancel and end up paying the 9 bucks for a few months before I notice and cancel it. So I had to adamantly refuse the service. I"m pretty sure I've had to refuse this service or something similar in the past, so I hope they don't try again in a few months.

It is a marketing company called BRI. They have a do not call list. I put my number in and it has been over a week now, and no one has called me back :)

i have gotten a call from this number the last few days... plus a different number the other day and it was atb trying to get me to get a protection plan... i thought telemarketers were not allowed to call cellphones.. isnt it against privacy rules or something??

I just got this phone call and i am so annoyed with this s***.. When the hell did telemarketing BLOW UP.. it went from a few calls a month to 100's and now cellphone

I hope something is done about this.  Call RBC and ask is this phone call being recorded and when they say yes, say tell them

"i think your method of calling us to get us to sign up to the protection plan is unprofessional and i am debating about closing my account, if you want me to sign up for something dont hire INDIA to try to sell something to me"

ive got a call to this number many times and i don't answer it, cause im scared it was a scam.
