I got one as well a couple of days ago. My mother DOES have EPIC card (not Eppicard as the text msg stated!), which is a New York State issued mediation benefits card for seniors. I called them and they do NOT send text messages to their card holders all of which are seniors and most don't send or receive text messages anyway!

Received a second text message from #3559, stating that I must call 1-977-581-9022 regarding recent activity on my EppiCard. I do not have one.
