I received a call this morning from 888-516-7848 and talked to someone named Marilyn Forney.  She said they were out of CT and were going to call the "state locator"??  They threatened me also with crimal charges, but through Plain Green Loans.  I also got behind because of a car accident and 2 months in the hospital.  PGL would not work with me.  On a $500 loan they want me to pay them back $816.92 after I had made 4 payments of $178???  PSH---I am contacting my Attorney Generals office over this.

I got a call from them 2 weeks ago. The lady was rude until I explained to her that I was unemployed. She said she could give me a little more time to see if I could make a payment. My unemployment came in that day and I made a payment. This is for a payday loan from Check n Go here in Missouri. I was paying back CheckNGo and got behind and I thought they were legtitimate. They called themselves Landmark.
A few minutes ago I received a call from another agency threatening me with criminal charges for a loan from Check nGo. Supposedly, Check n Go loaned me $900-splitting it into two loans of $450. I have never received $900 from any payday loan company, I do not know what to do except report this to the MO atty general's office and find out what is real and what is not. The number that called me today is 888-516-7848 and said they were Progressive but not the insurance company. Has anyone been called by them? The caller on the last one said her name is Casey Adams. The caller on the first one said her name is Carrie Ward. Any suggestions on what to do?

THE PERSON THAT CALLED OUR NUMBER WAS RUDE AND VERY NASTY NOT TO MENTION THE PERSON THEY WERE ASKING ABOUT WE HAD NEVER HEARD OF AND TOLD THE CALLER THAT ONLY TO BE CALLED LIARS SEVERAL TIMES UNTIL IHUNG UP THE PHONE AND DID NOT ANSWERE WHEN THEY  CALLED BACK.
