I answered the phone and all I heard was a humming from a what sounded like a tape.  I said "hello" three times the hung up. Sales call I assume

They call me at least 10 times a day, weekends, evenings, and nights.  I have no idea who they are because I have never answered my phone when I saw them on the caller id.  I am on the do not call list, so I am not sure why these people are violating this.

Calls numerous times a day...usually no one there...BUT LO AND BEHOLD...Tonight he asked for my wife and I was ready....I have a referee whistle, which is very shrill and loud...I used it and now we will see if they call back...I bet not!!!!Tried this a few times on different pests and guess what...they never call back again!!!
Just make sure you put the phone down and cover your ears before you use the whistle or you will damage your ears...Try it...it works.

Called before, I won't answer 877 numbers. These people are awful.  I was getting bombarded with charity phone calls.  The Fire and Police are not supposed to solicit for funds over the phone.

I recommend in your loudest and most off key voice, singing Whitney Houston's, "And I Will Always Love You - OOOOh, OOOh, OOOOh"  Who the heck can stay on the line with that?

I am on the DO NOT CALL list & they have called 3 times today alone. I do not pick up, I do not answer for fear it is a Scam & will be charged. Funny thing is, I have an UNLISTED number. So aggravating, but they can call all they want, I will not answer!

I have nothing new to add accept I am getting this call everyday at least two and most times it is 3 times a day. I never pick up and I am tired of it. It could be a charity that want money for breast cancer but heard on the new the other night that none of the money is getting to where it is suppose.....shock LOL

Scam --- calls all the time. Won't say what he wants. Won't stop calling.

After many calls, I decided to answer.  He said he was raising money for fire fighters.  I told him twice I support the fire fighters in my own town. Then I hung up.

Repeated calls every few minutes.

If you have digital phone service like Verizon or Xfinity just login and block the f*ckers! I just did. Save yourself a pain, you can't reason with them.

"Fire Fighters Incorporated", number 5 on the list of worst charities, giving only 4.37% of donated funds to stated cause.

Northern Kentucky residents have been receiving phone calls recently asking them to donate and raise money to the Kentucky Firefighters EMS.The caller ID phone number for this scam is 877-852-5383.these calls are not only fake -- they're from scammers trying to take your money.

This phone number is harassing and they will not stop, even after I've begged them not to call. PLEASE HELP !!!!

I redialed the number after missing the call from 877-852-5383 and got a recorded message that it was the headquarters for a fireman's relief fund that provides help for survivors of fire fighters hurt on the job.  Then I got a call from the same number asking for my wife by name and wheh I said she wasn't there he just hung up and said nothing further.  They call at least three times per day even though we are on the no cak lkist.  I yelled at them the last time and maybe they will leave me alone.

I get unwanted calls from this "unavailable" number at least twice a day. I have told them that I am on the Do Not Call list, but all they seem to do is turn my number over to another solicitor at the same number.

Despite an unlisted number and on the 'Do Not Call' list, this caller continues to call.  It seems impossible to ge them to stop, despite requests to do so.  

We have tried picking up declining and asking/demanding to be removed from the list, picking up the phone and letting it be silent (to waste time) and picking up and answering in Spanish (first time this worked...they hung up...2nd time they only ask if we need a Spanish speaker).  

Now, with caller ID, we just do not pick up.  If you have call blocking, you should block this number.

A caller from the number listed just called and said hello. I replied hello but then heard a lot of static and the call was disconnected. I'm assuming it's another charity call.

Had several calls per day early in 1913. Some callers were male, some female.  When I finally told
them  I was calling the AG office the calls stopped.  Now they are starting again with the same MO
as  others have  described.  WHY ??? can this  not be STOPPED ??

this number called at 8:43 pm and the only thing I heard when I answered was a group of people laughing. I said hello now one replied so I hung up. I think they may also be associated with another number that keeps calling today it is 18778525405. The only reason I mentioned this number is because the voices in the background sounded similar to the ones who were joking around.

They call every day 5 to 6 times a day,at first I donated to the support of breast cancer research,now I am getting asked to donate for childrens cancer fund,I am a breast cancer survivor and know there is a need for a cure but this borders on Harrassment!!! Recently widowed and on a fixed income!!!

First time I got a call from this number, I picked up the phone, did not say anything, but the guy was saying hello twice.  No response from me; he hung up.  An hour later, they called again.  I did not pick up the phone, but let it continue ringing.  The third time, which was a few minutes ago, I picked up and answered.  It was a telemarketer trying to solicit a donation...response was nope, not interested, and don't call again.

This caller is a nuisance, and is disturbing me with up to 6 or more phone calls per day.  They do not leave a message, and if they are looking for a donation, because of their annoying phone calls, I will not give anything to them.  A simple message identifying themselves would let me know who they are, and what they want.  I have a right to donate or not; it's my choice, and their calling my home so often will not make me change my mind.
