First  they sent air hoses that we told him not to.Then he told us that we had to pay a restock fee for more then the invoice.When we told him we would NOT pay that or anything else.The calls started 16 in one hour.Me and my husband both told him to STOP calling. So he and someone else called one after another. My son just had eye surgery.With all the calls there is a chance he could be blind.I have witness customer,friends who were here all the times.Please help me to stop this from happening to anyone else.  .

This is a complete scam.  This guy sold my parents a $200 Bosch Saw for $800.  The guy "Larry" (Steve is on the invoice) has called over 30 times in the last few days at all times of the day and night.  One call was at 2am in the morning.  He has been very threating and is extremely rude and uses profanity.  He does not let you talk, he hangs up on you and refuses to talk to me (presumable because I am not the one that was scammed).  He says he will only talk to my parents.  He has been very threating to them on the phone.

What is the latest news about this collection of scum, I had trouble with them 2@1/2 years ago when they
stoped calling due to me giving the D.A. some phone numbers. They just called and threatened my

Got a call from the assistant DA in Tulare County, California.  Mr. Conforte HAS been extradited from Vegas and was tried for numerous offenses.  He was given 10 years 8 months suspended.  She listened to the copy of the phone recordings we have and confirmed it is the same gentleman (I use this term with dripping sarcasm).  She also informed me that he is not the owner of Freight and Salvage, but one of the "big wigs".  See ya John.... enjoy being someone's BI*** in prison!

He posted a $3,000.00 bond and was released. You can check it out on the Clark County Court website. As far as I can tell, he wasn't extradited.

I have fantastic news!!  Today I received a message from a gentleman in California informing me that Mr. John Conforte (aka Larry Anderson?) is in police custody in Las Vegas, pending extradition to California, and has a number of serious charges pending against him, including terroristic threats!  Time to pay the piper, John!  Everyone should be applauded for all your efforts to report these terrible people!  Keep watching the net for latest reports and, if you haven't already, please notify the California Attorney General's office and give them your story.  The more complaints they have against them, the more they will realize how serious this is!

John Conforte owns Freight & Salvage but it is registered in CA. He uses a number of phones and phone numbers. The known ones are (877) 866-5745, (702) 401-8722, (702) 227-6266. He is actually located at 10365 Station Creek Circle Las Vegas, NV making it complicated to get law enforcement involved since the company appears to be a CA company. Unfortunately, beyond filing a restraining order or civil injunction, you have minimal protection from harassment. Conforte uses this loophole to continue his harassment without consequences. He has a number of people working for him named Larry, Charles and Pete. Law enforcement has not dealt with this issue sufficiently and Conforte thinks he has escaped prosecution, which he has, for now. Part of the reason is that each person making a complaint must do it through their local jurisdiction. If one agency became aware of ALL of the complaints, some action might get taken.
