They are now under the name CARE SOLUTIONS!! They want 3 x payment for $798. They called under false pretenses thought they were from my credit card company offering a lower interest rate (why I stayed on the line.) They knew how much I owed on my credit card so I thought they were them. I said I would pay but after 1 hour into it I realized they were 3rd party. Tried to cancel and supervisor came in and said they would report me to collections agency since I gave authorization.
Supervisor was very rude to me when I tried to cancel and said I did not want this and that this was under false pretenses.

I googled them nothing showed up and then I entered this number and found all the below notes. JUST HANG  UP. Learn from my horrible mistake or you will have to cancel your cc's and account information.

BTW I spoke with 'Chris Alonzo' ext 711 from 'CARE SOLUTIONS'  sounds like the replacement of Logistic Works

They did the same thing to me only with a credit card. I was supposed to receive a letter from the credit card company. It never happened!  They called on the 2nd which was plenty of time for a confirmation.  I tried to call them today and cancel the program due to nothing resulting from 4 hours on the phone. They told me if i cancelled they would turn me over to collections.  Don't fall for their scam. I have left a message for the Attorney General Office. Any feed back would be appreciated.

This happened to me as well back in February. I went through and talked to about four different people (should of hung up right from the get go - so mad at myself). at the very end I tried to cancel and said that I couldn't. then I wanted to talk to a supervisor when I did he laughed at me and said that I couldn't cancel. so far they have gotten half of what I was charged for ($700 total). so I tried to cancel and make a fraud claim through the bank. they were able to follow my account and still pull out money. then the bank reversed the claim and said that it was authorized.

the more I look into them and California laws the more I realize how awful they really are.

Tami, That is exactly what they told me also. I ask the first guy if he worked for Discover and he said yes. Then he transferred me to a lady who was  gonna give me a confirmation number. I hung up while on hold and went to Discover.com and called the number. They didn't know anything about it. Now they are threatening to turn me over to a collection agency!

I am from Iowa and I also fell for the sales pitch when I received a call from Logic Works.  The customer service number is the one reported - 877-866-5460 and then another number I received was 866-505-6695.  I should have known it was a scam when they asked for $798 when they could tell by my card that I was maxed out.  When working with the sales person, we called the credit card company, where I had to give them access to my credit card information.  They asked me to lie about my job, the household income and even said that if I could cry over the phone that it would help matters.  Well, I did start to cry alright, because I felt so bad about the lies I was telling.  I never did get the interest down to 0%.  So they wanted me to wait a while longer so that my bill would be past due more than 30 days.  Then I started getting phone calls from the credit card company with warnings that I would be reported to the credit bureau and sent to a collection agency.  When I told Logic Works that I just wanted to cancel the service, that was not an option.  They did reduce the amount of the last payment so I ended up only paying $598.  I also had to pay a late fee on my credit card.  My bank reissued me a new card because they thought I was at risk for fraud.  Logic Works is not a business to get mixed up with.  I should have known better than to sign up for something before I had a chance to look into the business.  I am poorer now, but wiser.  Please take notice of all the warnings posted!  I did report them to the Better Business Bureau today too (01/25/14).

Got a phone call earlier today claiming they were from Card Services and affiliated with Citibank and could get all the credit cards (knew which ones I had) to a 6.99% lifetime.  Not promotional offer but because I had paid more than 10% of minimum balance for certain # of months.  Husband does financial wizardry so woke him up (works nights) after 2 hours of sleep.  Said we would have to pay fee, got us recorded, or we would have to pay collections agency.  Called and cancelled credit cards.  They are investigating fraudulent charge.  They have our names, addresses, cards, and I feel foolish.  It was a robo call.  If I had had TV on I would have seen it come across as La Paloma Urgent and never picked it up.  But husband was sleeping and I was expecting call.

I just got a call on Friday & the woman said she was with chase and could lower my rate 6.9% 4 life and all I had to do was be on time with my payments and pay a one-time fee of $798.00 that could be broken into three payments of $266. they had me on the phone for 3 hours and I kept telling them that I wanted to talk with my mother first and they insisted that I do it now anyways I'm somehow on a payment plan with Chase now and my car gets to be cancelled and they're supposed to get $266 ( 1 of three for the $798) yesterday. The kicker is they took my mother's checking account number with the routing number and i guess they don't need her permission to withdraw from that account. I have done a stop payment and strongly suggest that those who have been taken by these people do the same thing. I talked to chase today & my card still going to be closed and as long as i do NOT make a payment my bill will go back to normal but I still have to read it apply for a new card. I want to know what I can do to stop these people from doing it two more people just not right

Well, well, well, what do we have here? A telemarketing shill spouting off  about *verbal authorization*, which does NOT constitute ANY contract with any you two-bit swindlers.
But just for fun, when you illegally call- we will play back different celebrity soundboards saying ?yup, yes, uh-huh, ok,? for anything ya all want a *yes* to! Meanwhile recording you as you recite your idiot script, for evidence. Still think you have a verbal authorization for anything, shill?

I was originally told it was 800.00 dollars and now they are saying I owe 298.00 and threatening collections.

I have had to change all of my personal information,  bank information, these people are nothing but SCAMMERS.

I have had to implement FRAUD protection because of them.

The local number they use in Las Vegas, (702) 520-5274 belongs to an Internet Marketing company  (if you want your company to appear on everyone's home page).

I will have the last laugh and get this company and report them to the BBB and the Attorney General.

My wife fell for the same thing, and when she called to cancel, when they didn't do what they promised, they said the same stuff about agreeing blah blah. We changed all our accounts and put an alert on her credit report. They call her everyday and she just ignores them, just hoping the same as you that they don't send "collections" after her. Would be interested in the same info from anyone dealing with this company at length.

What you say you do and what actually happens is very different. My wife wanted out of this agreement that very day after initially, and deceptively, having agreed to something that was complete misinformation. She tried all afternoon that same day to cancel this "verbal" agreement which is not even enforceable and against the law. Anyone can opt out of a contract, of any kind, within 3 days. She cancelled her cards, accounts. All cards and banks had no knowledge of or agreement with Logic Works. All said they your "services" were not provided. Now, Logic Works is calling my wife at work harrassing her for payment of fraudulent services.

What kind of company these days does not have a website? does not send anything written in the mail (proof of contract and services provided)? and only handles things "directly on the phone, internally, for security purposes"? No one! What a scam. I hope you and this b***s*** company goes down. The CA and NY Attorney General's office has been notified via formal complaint.

This scam from Logic Works happened to my wife. She cancelled her accounts and cards and now they keep calling her at work threatening to "send her to collections". This is clear harrassment and is illegal. She ignores the calls/messages. My question to anyone who has had this happen to them as well is, has anyone actually been sent to "collections"? I believe this is just a threat and part of their scam. What they are doing is illegal and my wife made it very clear that same day that she did not agree to their services and wanted out. But of course they said "no, you agreed, you are responsible for......". Thanks

this company is a credit card scam - they promise to reduce your interest rates on credit cards for a fee up to $798 to reduce interest down to 6% or less.  I initially agreed before checking them out.  Then found out they were a scam, I called the credit cards they said they reduced to find out they had not even contacted these credit cards to negotiate a reduce rate.  I filed a complaint with NY BBB which responded that this company could not be located at address given 155 Avenue of the Americans, Ny,NY 10013  212 525-5300 and 877 866 5460.  I had to cancel checks to them as well as change my bank account.

Yes they called me and I did initially agree to their scam, but within a day figured it out. They did not call back with the same person, and the second person I talked to was rude and contradicted what first person told me.  I went to my bank and cancelled checks that were to be withdrawn by them for 798 fee.  Now I have to call credit cards and change bank account.
