Got phone call at 630AM  my credit card was also locked  to press 1.  Sure, i called my credit card with no problems with any of my credit cards

This number called me about a mastercard that I don t have.

Sir ye coll namber se aaya the or 1 lakh kind demand kar rahe hai

Received the call at 12:30 AM - automatic voice claiming to be card security services and that my account had been locked for security purposes. Clearly a scam; no security company would call at 1 in the morning - especially if the card / account was locked.
Rules to remember:
1) If your account has been shut down for security purposes you do NOT need to reactivate it quickly; you have plenty of time to stop and think and verify (by calling your bank yourself) why the account was closed. This is why cards get frozen and accounts get locked - to stop things from happening quickly.
2) Never give out personal financial information over the phone. Your bank already knows your information; they will never call you to ask for it.

Woke me up at 1130 at night..... stupid people.

I got a call early in the morning. Said my Mastercard was locked. Obviously a scam. Government should create a division to go after these mofos. Especially the one pretending to be IRS.

I just got a call from this number indicating my MasterCard was locked.  Call came on my company number, and was clearly an amaturish pfishing scam

Don't ever call my cell again or you'll be speaking to my attorney.

Received a call at 3:27 AM IN THE MORNING saying my Mastercard was locked.......I don't have a Mastercard and have filed a complaint with the FCC.  I pity the fools if they EVER call me again!

Received an automated call that my card was frozen and to enter the 16 digit number to unfreeze. I t cam from 888-777-9234

This number called me and hit my voicemail without leaving a message, so I called back to see who they were, and it rings once then gets the busy signal.  I looked up the number and found this forum.  

Bulls*** call about a credit card (that I don't have) being closed from Gate City. How can this be going on so long? They have got to be able to determine who owns the phone number and prosecute them.

This is a known phishing scam. DO NOT give them any personal information or your card numbers. They are not actually Gate City Bank

Whois calling fromGate City Bank @ 1:30 am the morning and telling my mastercard hasbeen locked??? I dont haveone or do i bank at this bank.
