I got the same bs....finally got a panasonic phone that enables me to use caller "block" . after they figured out I have caller blocking they try to come in under another phone #  Ergo, I have over 50 blocked incoming calls. I refresh my 50 blocked calls monthly. these scum bags prey on us seniors.

May 3, 2013 We also are in Wheeling, IL and, we are getting many calls from  888-850-6426 and had inappropriate pix on computer that may or may not be related. She has an OP that is registered with the Court and is finding the addition of this 888-850-6426 calling very uncomfortable. Between the OP and this number calling all the time--Oh Boy!!

They said I owed money. I don't.  But I called to be taken off the list.  They wanted to keep me hanging on there -- I'll prolly see some extra charges somewhere now and if so, will advise.  The call back said they were "OSI"

I got a phone call from them today "Hello this is not a sales call please call 888 850 6427 in reference to branch number 56. I called them back and had to press zero like 10 times before getting a person. I told them someone called me and I don't know why and they asked for someone else that I have the old phone number of. They said they would remove me from future calls.

This a medical collections company. I recieved a call from this number, I called it back. They told me I owed money for a medical bill that dates back to 2005. I did remember this bill, but I paid it with a credit card at a discount rate back in 2006. I think they try to get more money out of you because you can't look up what you paid in hopes you will pay again.

This company called me to collect money owed where the stupid hospital did not submit the bill to the insurance company

I also received a phone call from them, and I am assuming is from Medical collection agency.

I got a call from them today at 9:30 this morning. this company is a bunch of idiots. I delt with them a couple of months ago over my military star card and after ripping them a new one I had the cops show up at my place and haul me off, saying that someone from OSI had called them and said that I had made terroristic threats to them and the D.O.D.

Same as other posts.  Call from 800 969 2175 with message to call 888 850 6427.  No one answers my calls. These posts start in 2007.  Why has't something been done? Web Master: Please forward these complaints to authorities.

They call me at all hours of the day! It's always an automated machine message that says " by law we have to say this is a debt collecting agency." They have been calling for almost a year now, no bills have ever come up and my credit is fine SCAM SCAM SCAM!

I got a message stating: "this is a debt collection agency, please call 888-850-6427. A woman left a message last week and again today. I got suspicious because I have no outstanding bills and there is never any mention of the agency's name or what debt they're collection. I thought it could be an identity theft scam and have not called back.

CALLS SEVERAL TIMES A DAY-AT FIRST I ASKED FOR A WRITTEN STATEMENT OUTLINING THE DEBT THEY WISH TO COLLECT AND THE NAME OF THE COMPANY THEY SAY THE DEBT IS OWED. TODATE AFTER 3 MONTHS OF CALLING THEY HAVE YET TO SEND ME ONE LETTER. I NO LONGER TAKE THEIR CALLS AND LET IT GO TO VOICE MAIL.

They are calling my cell phone, I never give that number out to any business. They say it is an attempt to collect a debt and to call them back. I am in good standing with my creditors. They say it is COE, but it seems to be OSI.

I called them - i owed a debt and am paying it.

Whoever is saying they are making up debts, here is one example where they certainly didnt.

I jsut got a phone call from NCO which now owns OSI Collections about a bill that I have not even gotton yet. So I told the woman that I would call them back after I talk to the company that held the bill in thier name. After I asked her who they were she get really nasty and mean and then I hung up on her after telling her I was calling the other company 1st to make sure this was a lagit bill and nothing out of the blue. But, they will call and herass u like u wouldn't beleive.

Just received an automated call saying it was in reference to a debt I owe.I just sold my home and am debt free .If this was legitamit why wouldn't a real person be on the other end, seems fishy to me, even more so after reading everyones comments here.I think I will also contact the BBB and States Attorney Generals office.I smell scam !!!

I sent a letter, certified mail to one of their OH addresses, after checking my credit report and finding a "created" bill. The letter was returned "no such address".

The "bill" I "owe" is to a company that DOESN'T EXIST. But it will stay on my credit report until I can prove otherwise. I have NEVER received a bill, EVER from the company listed!!

I was home sick one day when the calls began at 8:30a.m.  Someone from this number continued to call NINE more times between 8:30a.m. and 7p.m., at which point I answered the phone.  There was no one on the line.  Half an hour later, I got another call from this number and an automated message telling me that it wasn't a sales call and to call "1.888.850.6427 and refer to Branch 56." I waited until 11p.m. to call the number and received an automated message stating that "OSI offices are now closed.  Please leave your name and number and someone will return your call during regular business hours."(...like they know when those hours are.)

I received a call from 888-850-6427 0n 03/13/08 at 1:14 pm.  The caller ask that I return the call and ask for
branch 56. When I ask for branch 56 I was asked to punch in my bank acount number and the last four of my SSN. I ask with whom I was speaking and was told the OSI. I ask
"who are you?" The male voice answered in a smart way that
they were a collection and obviously I owed some money which they were going to report to the credit bureaus if I failed to pay right away. I asked to whom the debts were
owed and he ask that I hold while he check it out and asked for my personal information. I admonished him not to call again and he said he would call again whenever he
wanted to. I hung up the phone. I will now report the incident to the BBB and the State Attorney General.

I got this phone call and I wil get it again and I don't know where it comes from.

i received a call from them too and i didnt answer. they left me a message telling me to call them in reference to branch 49.  i just got this phone and phone number less than a week ago and i have only given it out to close friends and no companies.  it has to be scam.

Also received a vmx asking me to call them... I do not plan to return their call and will check my credit report immediately.

7 years ago when i moved to this area, bellsouth gave me a deadbeats phone number for 7 years i have been harrassed by collection agencies looking for james lichtleiter, debra jonson and today anew one bradford jonson. this has been most unpleasant to me since i operate in the black!! if i do not call back they continue to leave automated messages telling they will help me with an important business matter; when i do call back they think i am or am hiding these people. once they left a message using JEWELRY and EMERGENCY in the same sentence!!  bell south has offered to change my number to the devil i don't know...no thanks.  800 234 3550 is the one i'm getting now...for awhile my answering machine message said "no d jonson, no james lichtleiter at this number" didn't help with the automated messages and my friends thought i was nuts> if i ever run into james lichtleiter i'm goning to punch him square in the face. his actual number is unlisted!!go figure....so i just put myself on the - donotcall list, i hope it helps cause i've had it. although since i've been reading the complaints against OSI collections, i have to wonder if they really are deadbeats??!! that feels better

My son got a similar message.  The caller left a message saying, "This is not a sales call.  Please call 188-850-6407."  188 is not a valid US area code.  However when I ran a search using 888-850-6407 I found we weren't the only ones getting this message.  My son has no outstanding bills. It sounds like a scam to me.
