I got the same threats, harassment, and saying that they sent county paperwork to serve me but as soon as you call and make arrangements they suddenly by magic cancel the person who is going to serve you. They are rude and nasty and yes violate every Federal debt collecting law on the books. They said they represented St. Armands group a shady payday loan operation. I have investigated them they are the subject of many complaints, fraud don't have license in most states to do business. These people claim to work for an attorney but are the most unprofessional liars I have ever see. I have been scammed out of thousands by these phony debt collectors. Be warned asked for the original loan ID number, then call the original loan place and ask them if they have retained said company to collect the debt...they are all low life...but God shall recompense their evil works back to them...God is not mocked you fake phony debt collectors ...that which a man soweth...that shall he also reep...if you don't know Bible that means what you fakers have done to others will be done to you only seven times worse...and all LIERS shall have their part in the lake of fire...TRUST!

Per the other posters, these "legit" callers are committing multiple violations of the FDCPA - threatening people with arrest, lawsuits, and violating the alleged debtors' privacy - by telling people other than the alleged debtor why they're calling.  I'm calling you out as a shill.  Reported.

This same lady has contacted me at my home and job telling my superiors of pending charges and they have sent paperwok to my county to charge me with intent to fraud a financial inst. And Check fraud
