That number says its Officer John Brown from the Federal Crime Investigation Dept., which is a fake entity committing the crime of impersonating a police officer, with the intent to scare you into paying a debt (real or fake).  I would love to be able to follow that phone line back to their office and have them arrested...

Keep getting calls every so often, now it's happening again, states he is officer from the Texas State Sheriff Office, and that I need to contact deputy Samuel Baxter in 12 hours or I will be arrested at my residence or place of employment. Very heavy foreign accent.  How can I get them to stop.

we got a phone call from the same number and he also was gonna "press serious charges" against my family who vacationed in Miami at a condo... this guy says he wants thousands from us for "damages" that were done to the condo.... WHAT...!!!! He already got the security deposit!!!!!!! THERE WERE NO DAMAGES!!!!! WHAT A SCAM!!!! DIRTY, NO GOOD... WOW!!!! watch out for this number everyone.....that's pure evil!!!!

I just recieved a phone call from this same number and it was a couple of different "foriegn" people that I talked too.. They stated that a company was pressing serious charges on me and wanted to verify my ss # my date of birth and email address also my address.. I didnt answer thier quetions exept with you tell me....they had a fake email adress the wrong state... how do I make a federal complaint?

I received the same message.  I don't understand why there is not a law against this kind of stuff.  Why can't these people be prosecuted for their blatant fraud?!  I get calls like this every single month from different people with different numbers, all with a similar line of crap.  WTF is wrong with this country that we allow our citizens to be harassed like this?

Just received a call from this number, he left a message which stated he was "officer...from crime department and he had my name and SS #. That needed to return the phone call or it would result in a bad outcome that will affect my job, family and etc..... then he turned around and called my work number and left the same message. I will not be calling this number and I will also report it to the proper authorities.

Recv'd call from someone who called himself "officier .... from the crime department". Called me by name and had my social security number. Call back immediately something "bad" may happen etc, etc...No way will I call back and reporting to FCC per local police suggestion.

GOT THE SAME CALL, I GOOGLED THE NUMBER, WHILE HE WAS ON THE PHONE WITH ME, I TOLD HIM WHAT I WAS DOING , HE HUNG UP THEN CALLED BACK. I LAUGHED AND TOLD HIM WHAT I DID AND TOLD HIM I WAS RECORDING ARE CONVERSATION, HE HUNG UP. LOL, IDIOT

Rec'd a call left on answering machine from a woman with an Indian accent. She stated she was from "The Crime Department," and that she needed to speak with me immediately. She even called right back & left the same message. I could hear other voices working the phones in the background. This is obviously a scam, and I will report it to my local authorities.
