same old hang up no message crap

Gentleman on the phone.
He gave a brief spiel about lowering credit card info.
I asked for his phone number (even though I had it on display).
He wouldnt give it and kept going into his spiel.  
I repeatedly asked for it - and got nothing.
finally he gave me a 1-800 number and he hung up immediately afterwards.

I am on a national do-not-call list - so him calling is a federal offence.

Got a call today from this number. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  My number is on the Do Not Call list.

Repeated calls from this number.  Never leaves msg.  Will not pick up.  I am on the Cdn DNC list.

This number called my fax line today, I am located in Ontario Canada. So they are not only targeting Americans. By the way I am on the Canadian Do Not Call registry so the same applies here, if it's a foreign company calling they are not governed by the Canadian regulations.

When you pick it up it is about your credit rating etc. etc.

Who does this number belong to?   They have called several times..

I received a call yesterday (7/1) from this telephone number and they were asking if I wanted to donate to a Police Association of some sorts. First of all, the phone number they called was my cell phone....how did they get that?  I politely told him no, I did not want to make a donation and that this was my cell phone and to remove me from their list.  He said OK and hung up on me.

I'm so glad I goggled this number and got this link. I had a missed called from this number.  I refuse to spend my minutes on idiots like this!  Thank you for having this forum!!!!

Received a call from  904-863-0208. No identfication just "incoming call" in caller Id.

I get calls from 904-863-0208 and 0211 but they hang up after I answer. I don't have any bills so I don't know why they are calling and not answering.

I do not own a credit card but somehow I am receiving calls to lower my rates. Hmm myabe they know something I don't or the 3 credit agencies has not reported yet. Lol. This company is a joke and just calling people without throughly researching if the party owns a card.

they call me all the time too but like you said never leave a message.  guess they are waiting til I answer to try their scam.  my car is a 97 so guess the warranty has expired by now.

Whenever Govts make any regulations they make sure they leave many loopholes.Telemarketers are huge contributors to politicians and you and I ARE NOT.Whose interests do politicians guard?Dont rush to sign up for a degree in Rocket Science.Just calm down and use the grey matter.

The "Do Not Call" registry in Canada only applies to Canadian telemarketers.  Anything originating outside of Canada or companies you do business with don't fall under the category.

Got a call from them today and let it go to the answering machine.  Message was blank.  I've been on the DNCL for over a year now.  I was left alone for 6 months after registering, then I got a few calls.  Took the number down, register a complaint with the CRTC, then I was left alone for another 6 months.  Today was the first call in 6 months.
