Same lady called me. Wanted to ask me about grocery shopping. When I asked who was she calling from she answered "it's ok, goodbye", and hung up.

Must be something more sinister than a survey/marketing scheme, because there wasn't the slightest effort to insist for answers on her part.

The phone rang this morning. I was out. No message left. Tried returning call several times but was busy.

Just received a call from this number again BUT this time she left a message because my voice answer machine now says something along the line of " we don't answer to marketers, scammers etc so leave a message if we know you" the lady who never ever says hello when someone picks up NOW became quite annoyed and it felt so good to hear her angry message say to me that marketers do not call you to annoy you so just have a good day!

I laughed so hard when I got that message in her angry tone and I realized my voice message worked quite well to the point if you can annoy me with these repeated calls than I will annoy you when I do not answer and leave you a message to why i don't answer, LOL.

Since I left this message on my voice machine so far this week all other 1-800 numbers etc. have stopped ;) I guess I will leave it on for awhile and see who else I can annoy.

I also received a strange call from 19056980467... I answered the call and a lady on the other side asked me if I was shopping for my family, I said no and she hang up on me.... weird.
The number showing on the phone call display was 289-805-2948, which my phone provide identifies as ID.
I only know that the number calling my home is 19056980467  because I can check call-by-call with the phone provider.
I called back 289-805-2948 and an electronic message w/o saying company's name said that the respective attendant was busy and to leave a message. I also called few times the second phone associated w/ this call and it is busy....

I went to the website listed to ask that they remove me from their call list but if you click on the contact link beyoundthegiant.ca you are taken to a religious web site spreading gods love and provisions to the worlds poor natives.

Just got this call - I would caution people NOT to call the 289 number, sometimes they are set up to scam you by putting long distance charges on your phone.

Two rings, hung up.

From what people are saying it sounds like a scammer who is new to the business. She's probably too nervous to actually go through and figure out the info she needs in order to scam you.

Got a call from a lady doing a grocery survey. She asked if i was the lady of the house. I said yes. She aske how many kids and adults. I said only adults. She said this wont work and hung up. ????????? hmmmmm????

Called me and I answered right away. No one there and it hung up after a few seconds.

Our conversation went exactly as follows :

Me- Hello
Response - Hi its Patricia  
Me- Ok???
Response - Are you the mail grocer in your house?
Me - Nope. Is this a personal call?

and then the bi*** hung up without responding.  Most retarded telemarketer ever!!

I got a call from this number at 7.42 pm today. It was very suspicious that the caller Id was not a name but a phone number   289 814 9846.

The Lady identifed herself as Patricia and she was doing a short grocery survey. I told her I'm not interested and then I hung up.

When I called back 905-698-0467 - I get a bell message "let bell notify you when this line becomes available.
When I call -289-814-9845 - I get- This is Mike and Andre's phone, we'll get back to you if you leave a message.  
I beleive it's just a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This number called me but I was a bit slow answering so no one was there.  The answering machine didn't have a message.  I suspect it was a computer glitch.  The lodge and cabins look really spectacular though and if we were about 1000km closer might be inclined to stay a week.

Just called the 289 number and asked if they were affiliated with the 905 number, I said that they had called my number and hung up.  She said no one was on the line.  There was a strange sound when she picked up, I think I may have caught her off guard...

geez....  get a life you scammers, I have better things to do than answer my phone only to be met with nonsense.  I did not get a phone for marketing/scams/donations/political choices/surveys or anything else than my friends and family to contact me.  I will not make a contact list since I do have friends who call from places other than their home phone or cell.

The same thing happened to me on June 27, 2012. All I can see is NF and the 905-698-0467.

Called tonight. They hung up after 2 rings.

Im in chemo and Im tired of listening to the phone ringing only to have no message or be hung up on.

They repeatedly call my number and show up as NF

I finally picked up today and a woman said 'oh, ill call back'

I too am on the do not call list. Where do i report this annoying behaviour?

Got a call at 8pm, no message caller name showed as NP.  I am also on the do not call list, so much for that plan,  they probably sell peoples numbers, good way to collect them don't you think.

Just got called by this number; I'm self employed so I pretty much have to pick up the phone whenever it rings. Some lady said she was doing a survey on grocery purchases and asked to speak to the lady of the house. When I told her I wasn't interested, she said "Perhaps another time then". I hung up, then remembered I'm on the do-not-call list so why the hell am I being called; when I called them of course nobody answers, it just says 'user busy'.

Same phone call of Nicole. The woman wanted to talk with the main grocery shopper of the house. I told her I didn't have time and she hung up.

I just got a call from this number and the woman on the tele stated they are doing some kind of survey  about different grocery stores in the area. She first asked me if I shop for a family. Then she asked me how many times do we eat meat in a week (fish, chicken, beef, etc, etc blah blah blah). I gave my answer but she tried answering for me, and she was about to ask another question, got confused or something and hung up...
So strange!

I got a call from this number today. I did not answer thinking it was a duct cleaning service. I thought it was the first time they called but phone showed 3 calls. The caller name was "asterisk". Pass Lake is in area code "807" and that is the area code for the contact number on the Beyond the Giant website. There are plenty of references for the 905 number and Beyond the Giant on Google??? One reference has the number in Florida??? Unless they are using a telemarketing call center in the 905 area code (I highly doubt it), I find it hard to believe this number is associated with them.

Doesn't say anything when you answer either

Has called me twice during dinnertime.  Haven't answered.
