909-259-5691 called my home number no voicemail message

I find it to be a prank caller.  They didn't leave a message.  I have a feeling they are scared to talk.  I ain't worried, this phone number was complained to on DoNotCall.gov.  They will take care of it.  Once I find out who it is, BBB will be getting a call too.  I see mega fines coming there way.

"You have won a $2500 towards a vacation. A friend has entered you in this contest which you have won ... ". I then hung up. Obvious scam as nobody I know would have entered me in such a contest. I bet that they would have wanted some money to "process" the prize or some such. or it would have turned out to be a time share (do they still have those?).

The call I received from this number was a woman supposedly verifying information from an on-line order I had just placed.  Verified the information she quoted to me, including last 4 digits of my credit card number, then she told me I would be receiving a $100 gift card from either Target or Walmart, my choice.  That was the "hook".  Then came the REAL purpose of the call:  she wanted me to give her the ENTIRE number of my credit card.  I told her I would not give her that, she tried again, and I said NO WAY was I giving her the number.  She hung up.  Surprise, surprise (wanna bet I don't get that gift certificate?) .  BEWARE!!!!!!

Got this call on my cell phone and it was a recording. Wanting to place their company sign in my yard...must be security./alarm system company.  Hung up on them.

This is a company cell phone and I keep getting these calls from these number asking for a person I don't know.  They come at all hours of day and night and although I've called and prompted the option to remove me from their list they keep calling.

When you call the company is not identified, it just says marketing department.

Called at 10:06am to my work in Calgary. When I answered, there was no one there. It came up on my phone as a California number, so I am not sure if this one was from there or from Ontraio.

They just called my cell phone.  Didn't answer, never seen the number before.  If I don't know the number, I will not answer, plus my cell number is on a do not call list.  Not sure if that even helps stop telemarketing calls.

Called my home, caller ID  says FRAT ORD POLICE. Did not leave a message., I called them and they say you can be removed by pressing a number 1. I did not answer them I left the call if they become a nuisance I will press the mater further.

*Never* give donations to a stranger who calls you. Might be a scammer. Might be a legit independent fund raiser who keeps 90% for themselves and sends 10% to the charity. Best to find what charity they are collecting for, research the charity to make sure it's legit, get charity contact info from an independent source, then donate *directly* to the charity so they will get 100% of your donation.

Received a call from them several times offering to wipe out debt , which is odd a** i live in Vancouver Canada. There is an option hit #3 to be removed from the list

Received ANOTHER annoying call from 909-259-5520. Trying to get you to sign up for a free alarm (listened to the message so I could report them) Reported  them to the FCC.  You can easily register a complaint with the FCC online.

If you ever filled out a form online that included your telephone number then it's out there.  Everyone just clicks on "I Agree To The Terms" without checking to see if it mentions that third parties may contact you regarding products and services.

they just called my cell, which I don't give out to ANYone except family and a couple friends, I don't know how these companies keep getting my number.  I didn't answer.  I figure if they don't want me to know who they are by posting their name on the caller ID, then I really don't care who they are and I don't want to talk to them, or waste cell minutes telling them off for calling an unlisted number.  The caller ID displayed the phone number in the name line.
