Well, they called back today, saw their number on Caller ID, picked up the phone and proceeded to read Chapter 1 of the book I keep near the phone. Sigh... they immediately hung up. Please call me back! The book is just getting interesting! How can you not want to find out what is coming up?!?

This company is NOT in Georgia. It is in the Orlando area. USA Electric is a fake name. Their last name was Electric Power Association. They also have gone by US Energy Concepts. They've been shut down numerous times, and they keep changing their fake name to hide from lawsuits.

We got tired of the phone calls and set a little come-to-Jesus meeting at the house. I gave him a letter informing him that we would initiate civil and criminal proceedings if we heard from them again. He was from EcoShield, which is a window replacement company. I have his name and florida license plate number, and let him know he would be personally party to the legal action if I heard from them again.

Same. They called my wife yesterday. Same as above. I grabbed the phone on their return call today and spoke at a rapid pace right over the top of them, not allowing them to get a word in. About 2 minutes into the call, they hung up. Fight fire with fire, then cut their head off. Bushido at it's best. :-)

Set up appt. for today but they never showed. I should've googled # first!!! I'm glad they didn't show up. I am on the "do not call" registry as well.

We must get calls from this number at least TWICE A WEEK! They claim they are not a telemarketer, but are informing people about a government incentive of $3500 to help reduce energy costs and our nation's dependency on foreign oil. Each time they call I politely say, "I have already told other callers we are NOT INTERESTED, take us OFF your list" and hang up. Yet they STILL call. At first, the number was a 912-222 ... number; now it has switched to this 467-2080. They need to STOP!!

I HAVE ASKED THIS COMPANY (USA ELECTRIC)AT LEAST 6 TIMES TO REMOVE MY NUMBER, BUT THEY REFUSE. THEY CALL WANTING TO KNONW IF I QUALIFY FOR THE $8,500.00 GOVERMENT REBATE ON MY ELECTRIC BILL. I WANT THEM TO STOP CALLING ME... THIS IS WHY I AM LISTED ON THE "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY"
