Good luck getting back in touch with them. It takes 3 acts of Congress. I have tried for nearly a month now and left several messages. They never return their calls.

These people call me every day.  I know that I owe money but because of my husbands death I am not able to pay.  I have been working with Freedom Debt Relief and they know it and still they call.  I don't know what I can do except change my phone number.  The message they leave is always the same and no matter who is in the house they hear it.  It says that I owe a debt.  I am not fond of them telling that to anyone who happens to be in the house when they call.  What can I do to stop it?

Update they sent the exemptions paper out to me which I had to pay the Clerk of Court twenty bucks to file. They are still calling every month to see when I was going to start paying the debt to their client. I have informed them that I have no idea when or if I was ever going to be able to pay said judgement. I have had no choice but to block their number. Technology is such a wonderful thing. They used the wasn't out client good to you when you needed them. I said yes but your client jumped my rate from 9% to 18% and I had NEVER been late in 9 years. So my personal opinion is Bank of America can take that judgement paper give it to the CEO and let em use it as toilet paper. Oh wait, CEO's use hundred dollar bills for that dont they?

They like to use various sherriff's departments as a scare tactic.

Always communicate with them in writing only.

If you enter a payment agreement they will try to get you to sign a judgement. Do NOT sign it. It will show up on your credit report as if you got sued, went to court, and lost.

They did sue me on behalf of a Bank of America credit card. They got a judgment but judge told me they have no chance in collecting seeing that my only income is Social Security Disability. But they are now going for an order of execution. Waste of their time from what I was told by a lawyer.

take the letter to your closes police deparment and tell them the  number on the piece of paper is harressing you and they can get there finger prints off the paper

sorry it took so long, i`ve never heard any more except the ocasional call prerecorded message, so i hit the #2 button every 2 seconds  and it hangs up.

got a call today from sessom and rogers trying to collect a debt [per recorded message] morons sent a letter out 2 months ago saying they were going to sue me and take me to court it was delivered by our local sherriff dept, ain`t heard nothing yet! like i stated in the above commet in feburary they try to intimated you into paying a debt [if you owe it or not] the economy is not in  a good shape ,the banks have been bailed out, and these debt collectors are scum, trying to collect money from people, don`t think that for 1 minute that they give all that they collect back hell they don`t even give a part of it back .i have delt with these type of scum bags before trying to collect on loans that i had given out , i haven`t yet collected any money from the debt collector who was to get me my money, and that has been 15 years ago. and i paid the scum bag $500. to collect money for me ......LIARS. and the worse kind of theifs,may you burn in hell........

sessoms and rogers a debt collection agency trying to collect a debt........ hit *57 trace every call, write down their conversations, with date and times,also record every conversation, find a good lawyer who dislikes them, sue them. or just don`t answer the phone. if they call with a recorded message keep pressing the # 2 button on handset. don `t by any means agree that you owe anything or that you will agree to pay anything just to get them to leave you alone,they won`t they are LIARS they will say anything to get you to pay them.

Is is it really a law firm?  A collection agency that keeps calling my house for someone I don't know. I am really pissed off because you ask them to stop calling and they continue.  They call every day of the week and anytime.

I KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM THIS LAWYERS OFFICE ASKING FOR A "GEORGE THOMPSON".  I DO NOT KNOW THIS PERSON.  THEY MUST BE TRYING TO COLLECT ON SOME SORT OF DEBT.  I GET THREE CALLS A WEEK AND THEY LEAVE A MESSAGE.  I JUST CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE FOR THEM TO STOP CALLING ME.  I HAVE SPOKE WITH THIS OFFICE IN THE PAST AND ASKED THAT THEY STOP CALLING.  THEY STILL CALL ME.

this number called my mother-in-law in utah about her daughter here in NC. very strange.
