Samantha with heavy Indian accent called today from National Debt Center. She later admitted she was actually calling from DebtCareUSA, which is located in Stockton, CA.

I'm on the 'do not call' list and it isn't worth the time it took to register.  It's useless.  The telemarketers still call.  What does it take to get the government to take action?  Does it take a zillion complaints to remove these jokers?  Just what then?  They'll just change their number by one digit and they're back in business and we're bound and determined to get bombarded again.  Screw 'em and feed 'em fish heads.

An unknown male with an Indian accent called today (we're on Do Not call registry). he told me he was represenitng National Debt Center in Stockton Ca. I BELIEVE he gave me their number as 209-309-4586 (though his number was different).  When challenged about calling someone on the Do Not call registry he stated that he 'wasn't trying to sell me anything' and seemed unaware of what Do Not Call registry was. When I told him not to call anymore he said 'do not tell me what to do!"  and stated that the law doesn't apply to hima she is calling from India.

I keep getting calls from this number also. No one is polite enough to respond although I can someone on the other end. Just weird!
