Well guys, here's What's Really Going On!!! ... They Spam you up.. You come here looking for answers and before you know it... BAM!! You end up in a sites like these http://www.advancedbackgroundchecks.com/d/william-jager/48637580 offering to do background checks on your stalker at a "Reasonable fee" ... So they are creating a demand for their services in this way, and boosting their web traffic.. Smart but annoying.... So Please guys! Let's put an end to this! Next tym a crazy grl halas, just ignore it and roll one lol...

Same here = added me and then added friends of mine and/or followed them - blocked the person.

Someone just added me when by the name of Alexandra Range saying she added me cause she liked my picture and then said she had to get off but to text her at 941-763-6648. I looked, she only had one picture, if it even really is a girl. And NO personal stuff. Plus it looks like she just made the account. Unless your fake or have been living under a rock for the past few years, you'll have more on your FB page than that. So I just copied and pasted the number in Google and BAM, here I am. Sounds like some spam, or even worse, some sort of virus...... Either way I'm deleting her and DEFINITELY not texting that number!

The account that is sending these messages is a fake account set up to send these messages in hopes that you will respond to them via text message. If you do, you will be sent a link to a pornographic site, according to a poster here who did text the number.

If you get a message with this number:

1) Unfriend the person sending the message.
2) Report the account to Facebook as either fake, spam, or scam.

In order to protect your information, as there is potential for identity theft as well:

1) Go to your privacy settings at the top of the page in the left hand corner.
2) Hide the following:
Your phone number
Your email address
Your date of birth (you can hide only year if you'd prefer)
3) Hide your friend list.

Why am I telling you to hide this information? In the case of phone number, email, and DOB, there is no real reason this needs to be on Facebook. Anybody close enough to call or email you probably already has this information stored in their phone or email contact list. They probably know your birthday as well.

As for your friend list, I believe this is how this number is finding new contacts. Hiding your friends list will prevent the people you know from falling victim.

What the f**k is porn spam???!!!

Yeah I got the same basic message via facebook, who the freak is this girl or whatever "it" is. It didn't look right and the "girl's" profile looked brand new with no information and with 2 photos (one being the profile picture) of 2 completely different chicks; it was all very suspicious! The only legitimacy the profile had was "she" was friends with some of my friends. "She" facebook messaged  me this...
