Someone from this # left a voicemail including a number to return the call and a case number and ended saying that this "needs to be resolved before end of business today." But the woman didn't leave a company name, or give any indication of what it was regarding. Scam.

Let "Charles" know the next time he calls you will be seeking legal counsel and filing a lawsuit against him and his employer for violations of the TCPA and FDCPA if the calls do not stop.

Charles from PLS and Associates is trying to reach my ex husband. I am disturbed at the amount of information he has about myself, my ex and my two adult children, who he has harassed on their cell phone.

Not a clue what's going on, but he has called regularly for two years.

Yep got the same call saying my name was there as a secondary contact person and they would not disclose the asset liability information as to what the issue is about... also they wanted me to confirm the primary person home address so they could send some document. The person is rude so I hung up on him. Definitely seems fishy the way they operate.

Donna Ford called my cell looking for my sister-in-law.  Said she was from from an  outfit called PLS & Associates.  She also called my house, and my sister-in-law's brother.  They had my name, my wife's name, and my brother-in-law's name.  She said it was regarding a property in Henderson, NV.  My sister-in-law rented at the property in Henderson, but has been gone for 3 1/2 years.  It threw me at first because they seemed to know a lot of info. But a little voice kept telling me to be careful...

Based on everything I've read here, I'm satisfied it's a scam.  The property in Henderson is about 2 miles from the 1685 Golden Vista Drive address in CD's post above.  I suspect some connection to the property management firm (or their records) that rented the Henderson house to my sister-in-law.  Just a suspicion - no way to prove it.  I would be curious to know if there was a property manager for the Golden Vista Drive house, and if so, who it was.

I may call back from a public phone and have a little fun with these folks...

Based on a couple different websites that contain complaints about this number here is some related info...
Call back numbers provided:  888-533-2123 and 888-310-6510
Other phone numbers related to this phone number:  949-954-7550
Other names of PLS & Associates callers:  Stephanie Wills, Chloe Lane, Kelly Smith, Shawn Adams, Jose Sanchez, Alex Lopez, Sheila McKay, Brandon
Another property in Nevada that was cited by PLS & Associates in (at least) one of their calls:  530 Santiago Way, Dayton, NV (outside Carson City)

Address given as a mailing address for PLS & Associates:  27472 Portola Parkway, Foothill Ranch, CA  92610.  Best I can tell from Google Streetview, there's a Roundtable Pizza, a Massage establishment, a hair and nails establishment, a UPS store, and a Thai restaurant.  Hmmm...  Which one could it be?

Women called saying her name was Donna Ford and that she was doing a property investigation at 530 Santiago Way, Dayton, Nevada. She was calling from 1-949-484-0778. She asked for me by my full name I told her that I had never heard of this Christina person, she just said okay and hung up. When I called the number back they put me through to mail box 100. I will call again tomorrow and try to get to the bottom of this scam whatever it is. The call came from California.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

?is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
?refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
?asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
?exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:

?Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.?Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.
?Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.
?Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
?Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

I got my second call from this company wanting to know where my ex-sister in law is.. I have no info to give these people, nor would I. (Been 6 years since I have talked to her) The guy on the phone was saying it had to do with a liability lawsuit, and I was tied to it.. (Impossible) I told them to stop harassing me for something I have nothing to do with.  I told them if they continued to harass me I would sue them! The man laughed.. After I hung up I blocked my number and called them back, they answered it as Corp. Offices.. SCAM! Collection Agency!!

Would've been VERY tempting to send the call to your Legal Dept.  Have a feeling they should have a subpeona or some other court document to request such information.

Called and said they were from PLS and Associates looking for our company policies regarding the hiring of a Fred Rico Vega (dummies probably meant Federico). Nonetheless, we never had an employee by that name.  When questioned further they were very reluctant to give any info!!  Be careful out there everyone, scams on every corner!

Got a call from this number, it's a debt collector/law firm something, looking for my inlaws about a rental they lived in. Said it was about a liability asset thing and  they would not remove my information from the acct until they speak to my inlaws. They probably owe money or are being sued and like usual try to put it on someone else.
