J'ai reçu le message en espagnol et ai raccroché. Je crois que cela vient d'un enregistrement de logiciel sur internet.... par exemple Broderbund
J'ai reçu un autre appel mais d'un autre numéro de téléphone et celui=là était de californie.

Got it on Tuesday dec 4th around 6:50, never picked up the phone because i was in class but just thought i'd mention it. the fact that it shows a plus in front of the number.. i dont know if all international calls show that or only VoIP numbers.
I live in Montreal Canada, and it was my Fido cellphone.

952-378-9027 called my Fido cell on Dec. 4 around 5pm. The automated message was in Spanish and mentioned something about a "prezio especiale"... special price or prize (?), but I didn't understand too well. It was not possible to respond.
I would guess that this company is either surreptitiously contracted by the cell companies, or by some company which is selling bandwidth to the cell companies. Either way, the idea is to boost bandwidth sales by making a lot of automated long-distance phonecalls. If the program was designed to make, let's say, 4 calls a minute, and each call generates on average a one dollar fee (very difficult to estimate charges because it varies greatly from one cell package to another). That's $4 a minute, $240 an hour, and around $3000 a day if they have the thing turned on for 15 hours (which seems to be the case). That's over $20,000 a week... $80,000 a month... so, it works out to just a little under ONE MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR. Talk about a "prezio especiale"...

this number called me 4 times, I did not get to my phone in time. I'm on rogers too. I called back and it did not sound spanish at all! So then on my moms phone i dialed in the number and on her phone you can see what area you are calling to. It says form Minnesota. But then i called with the plus sign in front how it was usually and it was a voicemail and then sounded like they were speaking german. I have no clue!!

Got a call from this number, automated call in Spanish. It looks like they are just doing sequential calling and just calling anyone. Probably if you press 1, they try to sell you some crap.

Got the same thing on Telus Montreal. It's in spanish and I think it's a random phone caller/generator. Perhaps, they should call Toronto users, not Montrealers. Got some news from 411.info:
(952) 378-9027 is a land line based in Belle Plaine-Jordan, MN
The registered service provider is Focal Communications Corp**.
**Detailed listing information is not available.
I tried to do a number search on Focal's website but founded nothing.

Just got a call from this number - t'was an automated Spanish pre-recorded message. All I could make out was 'telefono'...
How do these people have our phone numbers? I'm on an AT&T connection - are they by any chance involved in this? 952 is an MN area code. Strange!
