I got one today. He called and said he was from "blah blah blah" in Akron. Since I couldn't understand the name I did a search online and found all these commentc. Fortunately I haven't talked to him and am now ahead of the game thanks to your info!

Called claiming to be a cleaning company.  We are on the national Do Not Call list, so I wondered where they might have gotten the number.  I blew them off.  It shows up on the caller ID as appointment department.  When I called the number after hours, there is only a generic voice mail box.

Very rude - as above, asked for the office manager and whoever hired cleaning companies. I told him I had one on staff - and he hung up on me.

Very rude caller.  Called for our office manager, and when informed that we do not accept unsolicited calls, asked for our president.  I offered to take a name and number, as our president does not accept cold calls, and the "gentleman" on the phone got very rude, and demanded that I transfer.  I again refused, and said that I could take a message, and he said "NO, you cannot." and hung up.  

You'll never do any legitimate business like that, buddy.

Claimed to be a cleaning company and wanted to stop by to give us a bid for services. Let him know we are not interested and he was upset. Finally said "thank-you" and hung up. 954 is Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. What really proved to me it was scam is he said he was visiting the AT&T company down from our office, but we don't have a AT&T company down the street. Go figure.
