I sympathize with all the angry posters. I got the call from 971-208-9956 at 11:45 p.m., and I am furious. It isn't the first time they have called, but at that hour it is illegal for all purposes. I called verizon's nuisance call center, and it was worthless. I have to call local police and get all sorts of info, and I doubt anything will be done. I think we should start harassing our representatives and senators to make the DNC law tougher. Good luck to you all.

I have been getting these calls from the same person claiming that he was gonna sue me...I told him, which I was recording the call, that I was recording the call.  As soon as he heard this he hung up I tried calling him back and he is not answering the phone. I left a recorded message of his voice mail message and me leaving my message. So I wait to see if he continues to call me back. What I get from this person is that its a scam to get monies form who ever will believe that he is a legal attorney trying to collect a debt from an internet company that he accuses you of using fraudulently. Don't believe him he is falsely accusing us of something he has no proof of. He can't prove you where the one behind the screen.  He has hacked into your computer via emails you opened.  So don't open emails from anyone one you are not expecting mail from. Check your files to get him out of your system.

Someone from this number is calling my work phone I am on the do not call list

This looks like more hucksters out there to pull scams, frauds, and pestering of people. Since I did not recognize that number of legitimate contacts or businesses, I don't bother wasting my time answering.

Got a call from a "IND SUR GROIP" on 06/05/2012 at 05:45 PM.

I just got the exact same call an hour ago from 503-457-1350. It was a push poll with a cruise as the reward for listening and answering. Very heavily partisan, definitely a push poll. There was no caller ID except the number from Tillamook Oregon I stayed on the line to ask who sponsored the poll (and some other choice opinions of my own) and they said Independent Survey Group.

Received  numerous calls from this number. I do not answer because I do not recognize this number. No message ever left. I am on the National Do not call registry.

I tried calling it to opt out and some woman with a British accent (recording) says the number is not available right now, please try your call later.  Maybe this number's already been complained about too much and is off the radar.

Can't seem to stop these pricks.  Stopped receiving 971 calls 15 days ago, then got 206 calls for three days.  last four have been 360 474 or 360 529 with varing suffixes such as 6901, 6912, and 6981.  I will not answer any phone number with a Washington state area code.

Calls my cell phone even though I listed on the Do-Not-Call Registry. Annoying!

I continue to get unwanted calls from this number.  I have reported it to the Do Not Call Website.  If they get enough complaints, maybe they will do something about it.

It's not necessary to re-register on the Do Not Call list.  This is posted on the first page of www.donotcall.gov:
"Your registration will not expire. Telephone numbers placed on the National Do Not Call Registry will remain on it permanently due to the Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007, which became law in February 2008. Read more about it at http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2008/04/dncfyi.shtm."

You only need to register when you get a new phone number since the registration it may have had with the previous subscriber will be canceled when the phone company reports the number as either disconnected or reassigned to the FTC.

I just received one about 18 minutes ago from 360-474-3921.

I get repeated calls both on the cell and landline, pretends (sometimes) to be a political poll, mentions cruise opportunity, so it's a sales pitch of some kind.  Now we just do not answer such calls but we are on the national do not call registry, so this "company" whatever/whoever it is should be reported to the feds and to various states attorneys general who generally have an office dealing with scams and violations such as this.

A call from this number came into my FAX machine on June 5 at 6:54PM Central Time. My number is on the DoNotCall registry, but they call anyway.

Also received a call from this number on 6/5/2012.

Received a call from this number; however , they left no message .They obviously don't know about caller id's that record their phone numbers.

Hey Guys I'm in a small very small town in Canada and they called me!!

I get these calls at least twice a day on the 2 lines I have. The recording starts off with "Hello this is Sarah".....then I hang up. Every call I get is from a diffenent phone number mostly with a 971,360 and 206 area codes.
I wish I knew who to contact about this, or how to stop them.

called my Google Voice number. Missed the call. Called back, got a "This number is unavailable" message.

Blocked the number.

called the number back to try to take myself off the list permanently, but this number is "currently unavailable"  darn!  this company seems to like calling around 7 to 8 pm at night

Keep getting calls at our office. Everytime I pick up it says IND SUR GROUP on the caller ID. No one answers. Thinking about filing a complaint to the FCC http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm?sid=d1e37&id=d1e91 .

They have absoltely no respect or proffesional courteous for anyone.
