Identified as American alarm company. They kept saying something about giving my son who is a state trooper a raise and when i asked who they were they hung up.

phone rang at 11:18 (am) today, Aug 23, '12. caller id on phone showed "Coamerica alar 971-220-1656". When I picked up it went to dial tone. When will the FTC put some teeth into the Do Not Call List rules?
Write Congress as well as the FTC.

July 11.If you received a call from "American Alarm" at 971-220-1656 it is not us. It is a scam company harassing potential customers in other parts of the U.S. We woulld never make badgering telemarketing calls.
So, beware...it's a scam.

I got a call from this number 971 220 1656. The caller said he was from GE Home Security. I could hear a lot of people in the background. I told the caller that we are on the Do Not Call List and he said okay, I hung up.

Just received another phone call from this company "American Alarm" on caller ID but caller identifies themselves as "GE Home Security". Today, Justin called me. When I told him I was not interested and to remove our name and phone number from their call list (like I have done every other time they have called), he told me to get a better attitude and called me a "b**ch". As I started to respond, the coward hung up. I have filed a complaint with the "Do Not Call Registry". Maybe if they get enough complaints, they will do something about these calls.

Got calls from this number on 6/11 & 6/12. My caller ID says "American Alarm". When I picked up, they hung up. When I called the number back, a recording said the number is no longer in service. Check with local American Alarm folks and they said they have had multiple complaints about this bogus call over the last 2 weeks.

These people are scoff laws! They totally disregard the Do Not Call Registry and pity the poor victim who signs up! You will be robbed over the phone. THIS IS A SCAM OPERATION.

A man called at 7:50 p.m. EST from GE Home Security. At the end of the phone call, when I said I did not need security, he said "Have a good day Jane, I hope you don't get robbed!"

These people call themselves American Alarm, and they "want to put a sign in the yard and in return you will receive a free installation of an alarm system with cameras"--Don't know if this is legit or not. Told them I wasn't interested, and hung up before they could finish their spiel.
