Their favorite trick is to start the conversation by pretending to be a police officer and threatening you with jail.  Don't fall for it.

Yes I had the same issue I recieved a call while working out of town ...from a woman claiming to be from a law firm ( Quinn Meares associates) she addressed me as Gina Generious or similar to that and she informed me that if I didn't pay  $800.00 dollars with in 2hrs she would have Richard steel proceed with law enforcement picking me up and hauling me to jail ...as I did have a pay day loan standing several years back I did freek out and fell to there request ..I was informed by Gina to go to wallmart and send money thru western union ( blue slip) and I did ..stupid me never checked to verify number .....this was last year  around February I'm going to go to loan place and see if that loan is closed or pending .......what I've been seeing on this post I'm out of $800.00 dollars live and learn I guess ....has anyone experienced this ....or herd of Gina Generious or something like that ....what can I do at this point .....    

They threatened me with a lawsuit, they claimed to have a photo of me at an ACE Cash express in December 2009. This is not possible.
