Sounds identical to the call I had this am. Guess they don't recognize Memorial Day lol

Claims he was from Microsoft. He claimed they've been getting error messages from my computer. He said it has a virus that must be removed or it will damage my computer. IHe said now can you please turn your computer on. I said No!! Won't stop calling

the worse thing you can do is answer a number you don't recognize. because once they know someone will answer. (ie) a live phone, they will just keep calling from different numbers. sooner or later they will stop calling. but if you answer your F@#KED!!

This is a scam number. Just ignore it.

I HAVE HAD THIS CALL TO MY CELL PHONE.  THEY JUST WANT EXTRA INFO SO THEY CAN HACK INTO YOUR COMPUTER. THEY DO NOY ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS AND WANT YOU TO LOG ONTO YOUR COMPUTER AND DO THINGS. THIS MUST OPEN UP INFO TO THEM TO GET MORE INFO ON YOU.  I TOLD THEM I WAS NOT CLOSE TO MY COMPUTER BUT OUT OF THE AREA AND TO CALL BACK AT 3:00 PM. OF COURSE THEY NEVER CALLED. AGAIN IT IS A HEAVY ACCENT PERSON . SCAMS ARE POPPING UP IN LOTS OF WAYS LTELY.

guy said he was from Microsoft, I thought at beginning of call.  he has indian (like the country) accent and there are a lot of people in the background talking, very loud background noise.  He starts in with a spiel about how they have received reports from my computer saying it is being hacked and there is malicious malware on it.  He did have my correct email address.  He wanted me to go to my computer and do something.  I do not know what info he was going to try to get as I told him I had not had any trouble with my computer and I was not even signed up with Microsoft.  and he said that he did not say he was with Microsoft he said he had said he was with windows operating system technical support. he said that I must be using window 7 or 8 or 8.1, I told him I didn't know to throw him off.   idk, if it was legit or not.  I erred on the side of caution and when he again asked me to go to my computer I told him no.  that he could send me an email about the problem.  and I hung up.
I just called the number back that was listed on my caller id and it gives a recording saying the number is no longer in service.  so im thinking not legit!  lol  He had a good spiel though and if it was a scammer, he was scary good!  someone that did not have much tech/computer knowledge, could get got!

I received a call at 6AM this morning (Saturday) from a woman with what sounded like an Indian accent telling me that I had computer problems associated with my ip address and email account. She wanted me to go to my computer to have her "show" me what was wrong.  I asked where she got my phone number. She didn't answer, just went on about my computer. I ended the call by telling her this call was a SCAM and if she or anyone else called again, I'd be waiting for them.  I have a whistle that I blow for calls like this.  Ends the call very quickly and they stop calling.

At noon today, I got a call from this number.  I did not answer and there was no message left from the caller.

i get repeat calls from a man about a microsoft problem -  i told him i have no problems, stop calling me and i am reporting them and hung up.  very annoying and persistent callers who do not speak english - have a heavy india accent and his name is dave.

Same thing. A man with heavy accent. My gmail has virus and spam. Third or fourth time calling.

I received a call, told them I did not even have a computer, am I bad? :-)

Keep calling me stating malicious items have been downloaded. I've had the computer 1 month and have downloaded 3 items (Skype) (Diablo3) and (battle net.com) all in which are either purchases or free and legal. Pls end this number it's getting really aggrivating and annoying having to talk to these ppl wanting to sell stuff.

I have received a call from this number about 10 times.  Each time, it is the same. A man with a heavy accent telling me something about their being a problem with my ip address and windows.  I do not even have a windows based computer.  I have asked each and every time to remove my nume and number and to be placed on a do not call list.  They just called again, I asked for a supervisor and told him the same thing.

Just got a call from this number.  A man with a heavy accent said something about my ip address, said there was nothing wrong with my computer internally, but..  I hung up.  Sick of crap like this!!!

Received a call today. I did not picked up.  I called back the number and received a message that stated "the number I've reached is no longer in service."

I received a call from this number earlier today. The caller did not leave a message. I called the number back, receiving a message that stated "the number you have dialed is no longer in service".

Answered the call even though I did not recognize the number.  They claimed they were calling about my computer.  I hung up and blocked the caller.
