Total scam responded to an item I posted for sale on Craigslist. Text read "Thanks for the quick response. My name is Chris George, I am from Houston, Texas. I'm okay with the price and the condition posted on Craig. I really wish to be there to see the item but I don't have the chance cause I'm a very busy person. My mode of payment would be in a cashier's check drawn from a local bank where I will arrange for a local pick up as soon as you get the payment."
Dishonesty at its worst....

As I know this number is a total scam. They want to buy something send a check larger that the item and then want you to mail the remainder to a totaly different #. Heres what realy amazes me. Google alowes them to set up an account and use it for illegal buisness. When you try to inform them of there wrong doing they do everything in there power to have you go report it to someone elese. God fobid they shut down the # site.

I also had an item on Craig's List.  Texted me shortly after it was posted.  State he lived in Texas and was to busy to come look at the item.  He would send a cashier's check with some extra money included to send to the "Movers" who would then be picking up the item.  Stated he would let me know when the check was in the mail. Wouldn't give a name or return a call.

I got the same text from this # about items I had on Craigslist as well buying site unseen & when I text back asking where the live it was on the other side of the country. Total scam!

actually was a text asking if I still had a couple of items for sale in my craigslist ad, they wanted to buy them sight unseen and send me a certified check or cashiers check and for me to withdraw my ad and consider it sold. I told them? I only deal in cash because there are bogus cashier checks. I think its a scam.

I wasn't called from this number, but "she" was trying to have me and a friend do some craigslist spamming for $400/week. Total scam. Claimed to be working with Marriott International.
