I got one too.  I think it might be a call center checking if our phone numbers are connected and working.  this is only a theory.  They might be making a listing of working numbers in various area codes and selling them to advertisers, call centers or some other low form of life on the telephone network.

Just ot a call from this number.  When I told them they had the wrong number they said their records said this was the. Umber they wanted and rhey kept right on talking.  I had a hard time getting them to stop talking long enough for me to tell them I don't care what their records say, it's a wrong. Umber and it's on the Do Not Call Registry and I would be filing a complaint.  Then she hung up on me.  I felt like the call was coming from out of the US

I just had a call from this number. Was there not another number posted on this site that asked for Mr. Cuevas? I have no contact with anyone who is Spanish but this name was familiar.

As a rule, we never answer unidentified calls which, unfortunately, has included the local library, my insurance agent, and at least one bank to confirm an appointment! Fortunately, in frustration I have answered a few and so I now have most of these in my phone's directory and their names now appear.

The telephone system is breaking down. The majority of calls we receive are now from automatic dialers whether legitimate or scam. In fact, I am thinking of having my phone disconnected and using only my cell on which I get fewer than three of these unidentified calls per year.

Received Phone call 4/1/12 at 8:45pm.  Didn't recognize number ,didn't answer. Left no message.

This number called on March 25, 2012 @ 7:25pm. Nobody was home to pick d call.
The number looked like a foreign number, so we tried to check where the call was coming from.
Still not sure what Country or area code is 110

Just got one today ... no one says anything ... recorded voice says "good bye" after a minute

Received a call tonight from this number today (Dec. 11).  The woman asked for Mrs..... and when I said I was her she said they were a home service and wanted to offer duct cleaning.  I told her thanks but I wasn't interested and she proceeded to go on.  She said, "we shall go ahead then" at which point I cut her off and said again I wasn't interested and hung up.

Number called 2 different times on October 2011 and Nov. 2011. both times person calls asks for "Mrs. Cooper" but i dont know anyone by that name. I told them I would call authorities if they ever called again and that i was tracking the call history. Will have to see if they try again but i'm doing research.

Did find out that this area code is in another country, most likely China from what i can find. still looking though. Definitely a scam artist. Do not talk to the caller hang up or threaten to call authorities on them.

Received a call at 8:45 pm ET 21 Nov 2011, definitely solicitor.  I was not homeowner and discontinued the call.  Person was polite.

Received a call from this number at 7:23pm CST on 11/03/11.  I was on another call and did not answer this incoming call

Called at 9:00 PM Pacific time, no message left
