Have been getting calls from this number on my cell phone for the past couple of days.......usually in the evening.  Each time I have missed the call, but I didn't recognize the number so tried to find out who is belongs to and it just tells me it a a Moncton #.

This person called and I called back and the number is no longer in service

I have to say this number has to be a scam. I don't answer #'s if I don't know it. Anyways, I call back the # and went through but it seems like someone just pick up and hang up on me. Makes me curious WTF? Oh well...guess this # is block.

I get calls from this number 3 times a day!  All times.  It always hangs up before the answering machine.  I call it back and it says this number is no longer in service.  I also get calls that come up as no name no number. I think that it is all connected.

This is Skype, i use it everyday and sometimes it will display NO NUMBER and sometimes that 854-4650 number. I don't know why sometimes it uses a local and sometimes a unknown.. but yah..

I got this phone call from the number 506-854-4650 and said that they were from bell and wanted to give me a free cell phone. I could hardly understand this woman as English isn't her first language and I said I didn't want it and she asked me why and I said that there isn't anything in this world for free then there was a dead silence and I hung up. Tried calling it back and is out of service. I went to canada 411 and typed the number in and all I got was it wasn't listed but had a comment below to come to this page. I know it's a scam and not being stupid to give any info at all.

I can confirm the Skype story. Just subscribed to Skype and when I called my cell that's the number that showed up. However, I would not be surprised that scam artists would use Skype in order to mask their identities!

The number in question appears to be assigned using Skype Internet Phone, I just bought a subscription to the service and tried dialing my cell number in it, and this was the number my Caller ID displayed. Hope this helps anyone :)

I got a message last nighy on the answering machine from 506-854-4650 she said her name was coralyn matthews something about a summons and wanted me to call 1-866-808-1188 but the numbers can't be completed as dialed

Not so sure this is a scam. Perhaps the calls are originating from a call center located in Moncton who has multiple clients (TD, Rogers, ect.). I managed to answer the call this morning and it was for Rogers. They didn't ask any personal info (ie credit card or banking info), it was more of a survey about my services.

i just got this number call and same thing. it is a moncton number and i am a rogers customer so it makes sense that it could be a glitch from them.

It said it was the EVM, asking about television and radio broadcast systems to help broadcasters and rating systems. they had my address, and I asked politely several times to have my address and phone number removed to no avail, all I got was 'if someone should contact you for a follow up, it can be removed then'. I'm really, really annoyed with this one.

I got a call from this number :S 854-4650 this morning at 5h45 on my cell phone, i didnt pick up but i called this morning with my land phone and the number is out of service :S I dont understand the meaning of this call. I googled it so I ended up here, and it's kinda scary to see all of you people that got the same call...

It is a male...my number is private and even business do not have it not sure how they got it, however if anyone know's the company please let me know.

Called and wanted my TD account information to try and save us money.  Not realizing until later and being annoyed with telemarketers I said I did not have time for that right now.  Later going through the phone I found this number and called it back, but it was out of service.  At that point I realized it was from the person calling for account information.

We have missed their calls 4 times since then and I thought I would google the number.  I am happy I found this page.

We got a call this afternoon. When we answered (without looking at the caller ID at that time) they said it was a courtesy from TD Bank. They wanted to know if we had been to TD Bank in the last couple of days. We had been there earlier in the day so we said "yes". She asked if we had used a teller and we told her "no". She said that was all she wanted to know and that was the end of the call. Later on we looked through our callers list and noticed this number. We realized that the call from "TD Bank" came from this number. We live in the Moncton area and it appeared to be a local number. We just called TD Bank and they said that local branches do place these calls on a daily basis. I'm just not sure why this number is conected to all these other mystery calls! I'm a bit worried now........

This number keeps calling me as well, but I'm actually wondering if anyone has ever answered them, to find out what they actually want!??

These people who called from this number are nothing but gutless cowards who
need to be caught and taught a lesson ,what comes around goes around and trust me i will catch up to these people sometime and revenge will be sweet ,there are probably a lot of people looking for these jerks who think nothing of using stolen credit cards to buy merchandise and then probably sell it on ebay,that is
a good reason not to shop on ebay because of people like this who steal and have no backbone .

Yea, its a bit weird, they can call you but if you call them then its out of service.

I received 3 calls from this number already....i looked it up on reverse phone lookup and all i got is its a Moncton NB number, and is through Aliant so its probably a land line........and when i call back it says no longer in service .... :oS

Ok this has been happening all week, I don't answer, but they call 4 or 5 times a day

They call me 3 times a day every day, it's been like 2 weeks by now, same thing for me, when i call back, no longer in service...

This number has been calling my house about 2-3 a day for the past 2 weeks or so; when it gets my answering machine it will also leave a long silent message.  I have never heard anyone / anything at the other end of the line.  I spoke to the RCMP, Rogers and Aliant and the best thing to do, if you have an Aliant phone plan, is right after the call comes in, dial *57; this is called "call trace".  After this is done about 3 times, Aliant will register this complaint and it will be properly investigated.  I am with Rogers who offered to block the number for free for a few months.  Aliant said it was a bogus number (the one that shows up on the phone) and that with certain computer programs you can have whatever you want show up as the caller ID.  Great!

We`re with Rogers, we`re constantly getting telemarketers since we switched to them, answer and we`re greated with silence. We just got a call from this number for the first time. It rang twice then hung up. Anyone know who this is?
