Just called me. Didn't answer. Isn't the first time this Microsoft guy has called me. I lied and asked him "how would I have a problem with Microsoft when I don't even own a computer". He was like... "Ummmmm." LOL. It's a scam.

this # also called us this morning not 2 long ago & we are in Canada they were very hard 2 understand they had a bad connection claiming 2 be from microsoft. My husband told them 2 send us a letter & they hung up JERKS YOUR NOT GETTING ANYTHING FROM US!!!!

I wanted to report a phone Call from 1256789993 rather than answer Abbie. I repeat it here:

I was called to day 24.05.2013 from the number 1256789993. The person had a strange dialect an I did not understand all what he said. He would help me With some problems With my computer. I should log on to my computer. Unbelievable I just have had some problems With virus. But my computer had a F-secure abonnement and fixed it self. I did not trust the person and felt it very uncomfortable and finished the conversation and hang up the fone. Who is this person? I felt it was some criminal actor!

Canada not interested..called at lunch (gave me gas) about my computer..sounded INdian! Was addressed by my full name, bad form & bad manners. Plain response: no thank you, then I hung up.

they rang my granddad from number 1256789993 claiming to be IT INNOVATIONS and told him theyd received a signal that his computer was running slow (which it was) due to too much spam on his computer and they talked his through to check how how much spam was on his computer they talked him through a series of pop up boxes and he saw he had 1188 spam messages and then he deleted them (although he doesnt remember where he went on his computer he just followed the pop ups but is sure he didnt go on his email or log into it ) and then the man told him to log on to his bank so that he could make a payment of £160 for the service ... he did this and recevied a pop up and the man on the phone told him to click ok !!!!!!! at this point the man showed him hed got access to his computer on his bank site on his page and sed that hed got £900  in and would be fine taking this payment at this point he told he dint have that in and had he not seen that was overdrawn amount  and the man just left if at that. the police have been informed and the bank have also been told and hes had a computer tech come and clean up and check the computer and clean up anything that he mite of done.
its disgusting and ive seen on forums they are using legit company names and possibly a few numbers i an posting this on all the forums and im also emailing this to microsoft and any companies these scammers are claiming to be as they will be able to trace them i will see if there is any other numbers used along with this and also list them and any company names they are also using

The number shows as 125-678-9993 and I do not answer it.  A few months ago I did and fell for the whole thing...I had to change all my number and had my server change my IP as well and cleaned out my whole computer to start over.....
I called Microsoft and they said they do not EVER call people.  My BIG mistake but at least I learned from it.

They called me today (Im from Norway) and told me they were from microsoft. It was a hindu/muslim guy that told me he was from Microsoft, and that it was virus on my computer.

how can i stop them ringing me 125 678  993 called 12 timed today help

Got a call from phone number +1256789993. An English speaking man/woman??, who said, he/she was from Microsoft. Then I interrupt the call.

The Indian accent from "Microsoft" calls nearly every day here in Norway. Luckily I'm not usually home.  I told the guy he was a fraud months ago.  When he gets really pissed off, he sends an automated message for a few days that,  when answered just says, "good-by" and then hangs up. I've been told by Telenor to just leave the phone laying there after he calls which charges his phone number.  If everyone does this the caller will lose alot of money...

Hey, I just received a call from this Indian guy, telling me that he is from Microsoft and he tolded me that that have received some strage errors from my computer over the network.
The Next thing i did was to tell him that a friend of mine has received the same call from a bad english talking guy that told him exsacly the same. He says than if i diddent belive him he could not help me but if if i beleived him i could. I Tould Hime To Go F*** Him Self And Have A Nice Day. I Will So Upload The Video To Youtube.com as Soon As It Is Done.

thanks for the postings -- this number has called several times with warnings that they need to clean virusses/access my computer, etc. -- I don't think so!

Received a call from 1256789993. He asked if I speak english ? I said no... he said "if you lie you will die"... Then my interest for a conversation get lost....(!) I hung up. IDIOT...

this Apu-guy from simpsons called me also saying its from microsoft and that my computer was in danger. since this is a SCAM and they want to hack your computer you should hang up or you could have some fun with them:) i did the last one:)

this number has called me as well saying its from microsoft and that my computer are showing error messages. They want you to type in some commands on your keyboard which you must NOT do since they are trying to hack your computer.
So don't pick up the phone or tell them to f off:)

"we are receiving some Windows errors and warnings about your computer and they are errors that are making your computer slower. Hacking files are being downloaded...these are errors and warnings are telling us you are downloading bad files...I want to show you the error signals in your system....hit the windows button and R key...."
SCAM!!!!  They want to hack into your computer...

Also got the call, Who is there people, I am searching at google and finds alot of results, but only ppl that have been called from these guys, He had some spoke some kind of indian english...

these ppl call claiming to work for microsoftand wanting to fix viruses on computer, bull, i hung up anyway they should be disconnected

Im from canada, the guy claimed he was from microsoft and i had downloaded some dangerous files and its damaging my C drive. he also said that my computer was 94 % damaged and he wanted me to follow his instructions to repair my computer. hindu or muslim, cant speak in a good english. Dont answer the phone  or dont do whatever he tolds u to do. SCAM

(Norway) Two numbers of the same kind, most likely criminal, have been calling to day.

Was gone only 15 minutes.  Checked my call log and this number called twice in one minute.  Caller ID said Name Unavailable and no message left.  Have a feeling this number is going to be a problem.

call from male with east indian accent reportedly call from microsoft advising I have computer problems and if not repaired my computer would shut down,,,I advised him to hold on while I contact my computer IT tec to confirm with him I had a problem....line went dead.....go figure

They call me in Norway, speaking in english. a man, hindu or a muslim based on how he spoke english.
