Got a call from this number several times so this time the guy said I need you to log in your computer and he mentioned all this stuff and I did go along with it and finally I go are we through yet he said almost and I said well I am because I don't have a computer I got rid of mine a while back and he got mad and was saying some words and I told him You are not American and I am American and you need to go back to the country you belong and leave our country alone and he said to me you are the one who isn't the American and I said buddy listen and listen good I was born and raised in the USA and your accent sounds like India and you are not American so go home and leave us alone and next time you call it will be recorded and turn into the Federal Government or even better to the immigration people and they will find you. Now this happen in January and have not gotten any calls since.

Said he was with Windows support and that they had detected a problem with my computer! I keep the guy on for over 15 minutes pretending to be 'dumb' as he talked me through going to the application log and looking for warnings and errors. Then after all this I cracked up laughing at him and told him I was a programmer and that he was being had not me. He went ballistic and started hurling insults at my mother etc... I told him to keep going as the more time he spent on the phone with me the less time he had to rip off some person who would believe him. That he was spending his long distance money talking to me and losing his money... Then I laughed at him some more as he swore at me some more and said some nasty things about mom! He really was very uneducated and stupidly wasted his time as I knew it was a scam before I picked up the phone (the area code shown on my call display). So, if this happens to you, keep the loser on the phone as long as you can pretend to be not very good with computers and make stuff up. This is really frustrating for them, but they won't hang up case they think they can get your money. Don't give out any real info of course, but see how long you can keep the moron on the phone. Lets make it a contest to see who can waste the most time of these con artists, and the more time of theirs that they waste, the less profitable their scam becomes and then they will have no choice but to stop. they like called me 10 times in 4 days. pisses me off.

They just continue to call and hang up on me. 5 calls in the past 30 minutes

Getting persistently Windows scam calls from +358 125-678-9999 and +1 02-3337-8555.

Yes I just got a call from125-678-9999.  They asked for me to turn my computer on then they would show me that my computer had been invaded by some windows based viruses . When I told them I did not use windows, then they hung after saying they had the wrong number. But they asked for my name, so they got it from some where??. This is definitely a scam of some kind.

This is a scam. Don't do as they say, and don't pick up the phone if they call again.
