I used to be the Treasurer for an organization that had a disaster recovery loan via the SBA. There have been two Treasurers since and I have spoken with the SBA personally on many occasions informing them that I am no longer on the board or hold that position, and here's the new name and number...lather, rinse, repeat.  They are always polite and say they will update their records, but every time they need to contact the organization, guess who gets the call?  They're nice folks, but come on... it is not engendering a great deal of faith in my federal government.

One of my patient's just received a call from this number.  They introduced themselves as being a company called "Clear Choice" and said that they will send him back and ankle supports for his arthritis (after he confirmed that he had arhtritis) at no charge to him.  All they needed was his "Medicare Number" which is the same as his social security number.  This is an obvious scam that so many vulnerable people fall into due to their trust in society and their sheer joy at receiving something "at no cost."  Predators like this need to be caught and brought to justice.

Harassing phone calls day and night. They don't answer or hang-up if they do. The voice is Indian (India) or Pakistani. I don't believe that they are from SBA. Somebody is using SBA and "US Government" as a cover for their harrassment.

I get at least 3 calls a day from this number.  When I get through it is the Small Business Administration Help line.  The message is always for someone who use to have my number about 7 years ago.  There is no live body to talk to and they just refer you to call 1-800-490-2498. That is the same number, No voice mail, nothing so why do they bother calling.  They just tell you to check your loan balance etc but there is no way of explaining anything to anyone. Is there no way of stopping these harrassing calls.  What can we do?

Several calls in the past weeks, this day 2 so far.  I say hello 2-3 times and no answer, I hang up.  They never ID themselves.

They keep calling my phone and not a live person to talk to. They have the wrong number and i can't tell them again. I told someone a while back that they have the wrong number and they said they will take my number off there list but they still call. How do i get to a live person?

I've received 5 calls so far today and had several yesterday.  No idea who they are, and they never leave a msg.

I was called from 205-917-1179 Alabama, Jefferson County. It does not have to be Bermingham Alabama it canbe frm anywhere

These guys call me every day at 8am. And several times a day after that, haven't had a chance to answer it yet.  Does anyone know who these guys are? When I get a chance to call them back, my phone doesn't allow me to call them back, which is wierd cuz the only calls I cant make on my phone are out of country.  Yet when I reverse seached them the are in Alabama.
