I have received several calls from this company and spoken to them on 4 different occasions over the past 3 months. I'm sick of them. Bernard Baker is the person who is calling me and because I am "female",  he is insisting that I'm another person who I have never known or met before. Viola Hassam. I don't even live at the address they state! He has never stated what company he is from and even though he is ringing me he asks me for my phone number. Then he states that because I remember his previous phone calls that I must know Viola!
I even gave him and his supervisor my full name and details. I'm now at the point of referring these guys to the Federal Police. These guys must be stopped from harassing innocent people. When they are given the correct information they should update their details and stop calling. Being sexist isn't going to find the person they are really after! All they are doing is really pissing people off!!!

We'll, as I was told. For security they have to ask all personal details about the person who had a service with Telstra. What happened was when these people have their services deactivated or was deactivated for non-payment these numbers goes to a queue. So, for people who signed up for new services with Telstra, they could get the numbers from previous people who had not paid or has an outstanding balance. Poor us who keeps getting these calls/text messages. I got so curious so I asked all questions. Just sharing.

I got that message today say " please contact Jessiaca at credit corp on 1300 661 627 and quote a reference number" kinda freeked me out, ive also had some calls from a blocked number asking for kate simmons?? WTF??

I got a message from a strange mobile number and asked me to call back Jessica  at Credit Corp 1300 661 627 with a reference number. I didn't bother to ring back.

Scam, Scam, Scam. Those fu*king ars*wip*s got to me too but they can all go and get fuc*ed. Even Credit Corp can go and get f*cked too. I absolutely hate scams and credit companies. If I could find out who it was they'd be in f****ng pieces.

I received a SMS from this # 1300 661 627 asking me to return the call which i didn't. Is this a scam?

I got the exact same message today - telling me to contact Jessica Shields.

I replied via text asking what it is in relation to. Heard nothing back, so I left it.

By the way Credit Corp is a legit company and Jessica shields does work there (this info can be gained from their site on the net) but the 1300661627 number that you have to call back on is not a number related to credit corp that I can see.
So they are using details from the company to make this bogus scam more realistic

I recieved the same message and am not a Telstra customer. I called the number from another phone, not my mobile and throughout the ocnversation never gave any details. A lady answered she did not state any company name just her name. I said i recieved a text message and she said was it from "jessica shields" and insisted I give my DT number, I said she had to give me details first.
Her reply was she could not until I gave the DT number. I insisted she must be from a company and she said she was from Credit corp, they are legitamet and I could google them on the internet, she told me that they collect money from people.
My argument to her was I am not a telstra customer, never have been, if they wanted something from me they would call me, not get me to call then, they would send a letter and be able to explain the situation to me without me having to give away personal details.
She said I had to give her the DT number. I then proceeded to tell her I looked this number up on google and found several reports that claimed it seemed dodgy and I assured her they would get little response from "customers" using this method.
I said I will never give her information and she continually talked over and argued with me, the call ended when I said she could shove it and she said fine.. Jessica Shield will just keep texting you, I said that fine I am going to report her now anyway.

I just got the same msg, to call back and quote a reference #. I immediately deleted the msg! If someone wants to talk to me they can call me!!!!!!

Got the same message, rang back and it was all very odd. 'Gina' answered the phone, sounded Phillipino, said she was from Credit Corp and they were calling on behalf of Telstra. She said she had to change her 'phone' and could she call me back on a number? I resisted, so she suggested she call me back on the mobile number she already had. I kept asking what it was about and she eventually said she had to change from a headset to a handset so she hung up and rang my mobile. Then she asked if I knew a Gail Novak. I told her I don't have a Telstra account and the number she was calling was another carrier. She sounded perplexed, then asked if I knew a couple of other numbers which she read out. I didn't. She asked how long I'd had the number and I told her. That was it. I am confused - I don't think I gave her any info she could use fraudulently, but it all seemed very odd.....

Same request.  Did not answer.  People can call if they want - I do not return calls to unknown numbers.
