Everyday I am receiving calls twice from 1409247019. Please do the needful or inform them not to call since My parents are not well.

I got a call from this number at 7:30 in the evening, but nobody spoke, i cut the call, again i got call from 140293543
This number too no one spoke. Be careful while attending such calls
there is no need to update any of the details over a phone call,
be it from a genuine company. It is always safe to personally visiting and updating .
Most of the fraud can be avoided.

I got a call from this number (1409263429) saying its from HDFC introducing to a new plan called sampoorna samvrudhi....and he asked whether i can invest 50,000 immediately? .....i got this call to my landline..Fells like its a fraud

hi, today @ 5.29PM, I got a call from this number 1409263429 and a women named Pooja was spoke to me. She her self introduced as BSNL staff, asking for in whose name registered my BSNL connection (in my name only). I was refused to answer and he said reason that, BSNL's data got deleted, hence they are not able to find the name registered to respective connections. And she was talking again saying that what kind of details can be provided and I refused for any. Later she got bit angry her self :) and said that, this is a verification call of registration of BSNL connection and if any one called up and asking whether she called me or not, then I should say yes. When I refused to say my name, she asked me that, you are following up for the issue related to telephone line connectivity in local BSNL office, I said Yes. So I said Yes. Also, when she got she was mentioned wrongly about she is calling from HDFC Bank and later she immediately changed that to BSNL. So i doubt this can be a fraud for something.

I was thinking, why BSNL IT support team won't have backup of telephone connection list from server and also to how many customers she is going to call daily ?

I get a call from this number daily at 3.00 PM.  The person at the other end is a lady or a gent.  
Inspite of strict warning, they still call everyday.  This has become an alarm for my afternoon nap.  Today, that is 27th September 2012 the person asked me to take a policy otherwise they will call everyday.  I am not able to trace whose number is this though the call was for a HDFC Life Insurance Company policy.

I get to my landline often once or twice a month sometimes and that too its irritating when the ring comes 3 times and and disconnects. But once (11 july 2012 12.25 pm) my mother spoke and he said he is an inspector CBI or CID something like that and asked my Dad's number. My mother gave Dad's office number, but my Dad did not any call to office so far.
