I got a call from this number today, sometimes they use other numbers, but the message is always the same...they want to supposedly help you lower your credit card interest rate and they always say this is the last time we can take advantage of it.  Just as the other post had written, when I tried to tell them to remove my name from their list...they hung up on me.  I tried to call them back, but it is not a valid number.  Next time I will ask their company name to see if they might reveal it, then maybe we can do something.

Look, I've been getting phone calls from this company for years now. I just told the person when I pressed 1, to f*** off and she told me to do the same. That was more than I ever got out of any of them.

You cannot report them to the national do not call phone number. I've tried already. You HAVE to have either a valid phone number and/or the name of the company that's calling you. And this company with others have learned how to get around that so they'll never get in trouble. Somehow, one of us has to find out who they are and sue the socks off of them.

Even if you report these callers to the Do Not Call List nothing gets done... because the numbers that show up on our caller ID's  DON'T EXIST...UHG!

Any ideas who this might be?

I did not answer. When I tried to call back to see who it was, it came up not a valid number. I too, am on the do not call list. Next time I will answer and let them know I will report them.

this number has called and my granddaughter looked up the number and area code. this number does not exists. i found this website with these complaints. how many others r receiving these calls and getting their
id stolen????

If you press 1 you get a live person.   If you have the time press that 1.   Then state why would you do business with a company that knowingly violates federal law and uses a false caller id.   Then ask why they work for a company that does.  

Their auto-dialer and recorded announcement are cheap to use.   But when you press that 1 button, they have to pay a real person to answer.   And that costs them money which is what it's all about.

My telephone number is in the National and State Do Not Call list. Still these people have called 4 times.

There is a live person who asks if you have credit card; if so, how much; what is interest rate, etc.  They have called several times and always hang up when told not to call and to remove your number and that you are registered on the Do Not Call Registry.  This caller had an eastern US accent--New York perhaps.
